Replacement for my Garmin Forerunner 235?

Why don't you? You obviously enjoy music, including during activities where you should be focused on the actual training like drills.

I’ve had my eye on a 245 music for a while now. I had an old Forerunner 220 that was awesome and when that finally died I had a Vivoactive 3. The Vivoactive seemed accurate enough, and I liked the Bluetooth functionality, but in less than three years it went from holding a charge for multiple days to not being able to make it through a full work day and still have enough juice for a half hour run. Was this a fluke or am I right to be a little gunshy on another Garmin?

Not a fluke, my 245 music battery life was noticeably worse than my 230. Switched to a coros apex and the battery life has been really solid. All I’m really looking for in a watch is battery life, pace, and distance and it hits those marks really well.
