Have you been to a homogeneous city? They are lame as hell.
OP made a lot of assertions based on feelings.
Ever been to Kyoto?

People like to be around people who are similar to themselves. Even in a broadly multicultural society like America, people eagerly settle in ethnic enclaves, cling to cultural norms and identities, bristle at “appropriation,” and spend enormous amounts of our time and energy bickering over various forms of cultural friction. We see the same thing in many other multicultural Western societies, and some of the least divided countries on Earth are the most homogenous ones.
Is the great American experiment proving a naive failure? Can ethnic tribalism ever be overcome? I used to think it was inevitable, but I’m no longer sure it is even possible.
this is so stupid it hurts

Simply look around the World, like minded people flock together in countries that share ethnicity, culture etc.
it's Human nature and there's nothing wrong with it.
Japan and Korea are ethnically homogenous countries. They seem to be nice places to live.

That is not an argument.

Yes, you are correct; the American experiement is a failure. Racial strife is omnipresent. Diversity and multiculuralism are failures. The strongest, most unified, most pleasant countries are those, like Japan, Poland, Hungary, and Iceland, that are culturally, ethnically, and linguistically homogenous.
Yes I’ve been. It’s a great exception.
Can someone reconcile to me how you can be pro-American and anti-multiculturalism? Are you suggesting we bring back segregation?

Give me Queens over any cities in those countries every single day.

And both are rapidly adopting pro-immigration plans and embracing multiculturalism because they are running out of young people!
Fine until someone came up with the brilliant idea of blaming those with initiative for crimes against those that would rather sit on their butt.

Remember when Japan was going to take over the world... but their insular society refused immigration, the population aged and shrank, and they lost their burgeoning superpower status.
Multiculturalism woulda solved that!

I don't see you moving to Poland or Hungary any time soon.
The dudes talk the talk about ethnostates, but when push comes to shove they happily stay in the multicultural, godless, and (worst of all) liberal America.

Tokyo looks homogeneous to uninformed outsiders because the two largest minority groups are Koreans and Chinese. (They all look the same to you.) The same goes for Kyoto. (A large Korean population which you probably did not notice.)
A real homogeneous city? Try Pyongyang. Actually, that city has some foreign diplomats. But anywhere else in North Korea, it's almost 100% Korean.
Kind of obvious isn't it? Anytime you have a inclusion and immigration of massively differing peoples the nation starts to fail. Seeing this everywhere. Especially US, UK. Countries like China, Korea, Poland, Czech, Germany, etc which are more homogeous is where you will see fastest growth & development.
