My girlfriend does the opposite - she says 'I' when she should say 'we'.
For example, when talking to other people - "I'm going on vacation next week..." Um, I'm coming too! Or "Welcome to my apartment..." Um, I live here and pay rent too! Or "I brought a loaf of bread to this potluck" Um, actually that's from both of us and actually I baked it.
But at least I don't need to worry about excessive we's!
