Again, you clearly know nothing about the SEC this year. To suggest this Oklahoma team could be middle of the pack is simply asinine. They could maybe hope to beat Auburn on their best day. Even they averaged 26:09 at Vanderbilt's home meet.

That would be converted to high 16s 5k. Wow. Hard to win the state meet in some states.

Nah... Georgia, LSU, and Tennessee all are very solid teams. Hate on the SEC much? SEC is the best conference in NCAA cross right now.

Huh? When did they last compete, Pre-Nats? Iowa was about the worst team in B10 but beat Arkansas and Kentucky head to head and put 5 in before Georgia's first runner in the second race. The 2nd best team in the SEC would finish about 8th at the Big 10 meet this year.

With a depleted Michigan, Wisconsin, and Penn State squads? Indiana is the only decent team in B1G this year... Let’s be honest here Arkansas is by far the best team in the country and got 6 sub 14 transfers since then... stop with the cap. Ole miss, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee are all full of very young talent that would shaft some of these squads.... Let’s use some reading comprehension here, buddy

Other than Arkansas, the SEC is a joke amongst D1 coaches and runners. Check the results for the past 5 years and tally the number of teams from the SEC as compared to B10. They are a joke.

B10 couldn’t compete with the SEC now... once again a casual talking ish... Arkansas hasn’t been up there until this year, Ole Miss was running the show. Not to mention the amount of talent that goes into the B10 schools vs results tell another story... explains why so many good Hs transfer OUT after one year or so... Do a little more research and actually look at some times before being a B10 fanboy, get outta here with that

I’ve actually been pleasantly suprised with how Mizzou is doing, a lot of the talent at the Missouri state level signs to Mizzou and does awful under the coaching staff. The new coach seems to have an idea of what he’s doing.

Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama are meh.

Alabama and Arkansas are only good really because of all the international talent they get. I’m not opposed to having guys from Kenya run in college, I think the diversity is great. It does say something about the team results when they are the only ones doing well though.

Big 10 is pretty stacked in comparison. Michigan had 2 seniors on Xc last year. Indiana 1 and Wisconsin 4.

Purdue is really legit, and I’ve heard good things about the freshman class at Iowa.

Not to mention the Great Lakes region is infinitely more difficult than the south and south central regions

I don't know if anyone mentioned the wind - solid 20 mph out of south, gusting too. I'm surprised the times were as fast as they were. I was in the race and got rocked toward the end. When that front group of 4-5 took off, they were heading into that wind.

I did the research. The Big 10 had more teams at nationals than the SEC every single year over the past 10 years. As you said, the B10 attracts much more talent than the SEC. Kids realize that they can't make top 7 and end up transferring to weaker schools in the SEC. I will let you pull up the track times for the 2 conferences and you will fall off of your chair when you see how much better the B10 is.
