Hahaha, look you said it. Your a regular Palmero.
Yes, Lagat's mark in the results should have NR next to it, as well, to designate the American Record.

It is a great day for America! Lagat is the man. If, as Mairus says, Lagat is running the 5k in Berlin, we should see another re-writing of the American record books.
I'd expect a 12:52ish from him. I will be nice to seem some American distance runners in the Track and Field world lists at the end of the season.

Why? America did not produce him. That is like being proud to be an American citizen when you see Radcliffe win a gold medal or set a WR, just because she trains in the U.S.
I doubt he could hold up to 12:52 pace for long enough. But he is probably trying to do just that by running a 5k at this time. You never know what next year will bring.

Eckshually, Lagat is a product of the U.S. citizenship process, the NCAA track and field system, and the U.S. business system.
He is probably more of a 'murcan product than a lot of us.
Good thing you didn't get upset by my mis-spelled comment.
Palmero (Päl-mare-o) : Being originated from or related to the dumbass.
NCAC Area of letsrun.com is a palmero.
Is anyone else feeling the gay vibe between Jhort and NCAC Area? Those two need to get a room or something.
Im feeling your vibe big guy.
Uh, why would it upset me? I think you're projecting, sweetheart, because you're clearly catty from having your shortcomings pointed out. I only laugh at ignorance, so thanks for the laughs!
This is pathetic, but last post. Let's recap.
You - Yes, Lagat's mark in the results should have NR next to it, as well, to designate the American Record.
Me - Well, by them putting Area Record by his name, and by him being from the USA, they just assume you will realize it includes the time being a national record. I too thought it was American record before I saw the 2nd AR, then didn't realize it stood for Area Record until these last few posts.
trackhead - I don't see how an Area Record could not be a National Record, until the country in question changed areas at some point.
You - Uh, of course not. It's implied.
You - I'm a big flamer.
Morale of the story - You have no clue what your talking about. The end.
Thanks, none of the rest of us could just scroll up to see that. Perfect ending from you, there's really nothing that can top someone who states things like "morale (sic) of the story" and "what your (sic) talking about"! Gives every impression of being clued-in. There's really no need to keep proving that you have issues with reading comprehension and literacy, I believe it already! Good luck with that 20th self-love session of the day and have fun in 6th grade tomorrow.

You mean "moral," not "morale"--shouldn't end a critique with a mistake like that. The end.
