This is inaccurate. He said and did terrible things. Because he's a horrible person and horrible public official (with nearly zero self-control). The media COVERED the president, as they always do.

The resulting very clear impression of Trump was pretty much ZERO percent the media's fault. Pretty much 100% Trump's fault.

Indeed, a decent argument can be made that the media is "too fair" with regard to Trump. The man tried to ignore an election and stay in power. In "Mericuh."

Lastly, for the Trumper morans: His "policy positions" are EXACTLY the same as the average R. Nothing special. And his ability to hire good people, work well with others, and get policy done is well below average (see infrastructure bill, wall building, relationship wtih world allies, constant hiring/firing, needless enemy-making on the other side of the aisle, etc.). So PLEASE stop trying to hide your love for an awful human being/politician behind your supposed love for his policies. It's just SO lame and transparent.

OP, I think you should definitely transfer to a school where you can run. This relationship unfortunately can’t really be fixed now, and running is important to you. I don’t really agree with the people who say this is obviously your fault. Sometimes there are misunderstandings. You should find another school, transfer, and try to use this experience to keep up better communication with your new coach. Good luck to you!

I’m happy Trump is an awful person and humiliates the Republican Party constantly. I’m glad that centrists on this board absolutely despise him and his divisiveness. However, there’s no doubt that the man is an incredible and charismatic politician, and I’m a politics nerd so I find it really interesting. Also a pretty big comedy fan and he’s good for that too. He’s just a business man doing business.
