Yes, it was busy. YEs, a few shelves were bare - i.e.: toilet paper, paper towels, frozen berries (damn it!), hand wipes.

No, the line was manageable - just about 4 or 5 minutes. But i did chat up the guy who boxes up stuff at the checkout and he said that the lines this morning were longer, and he mentioned about 30 to 45 minute wait. Hard to believe.

In general, a lot of people seemed a little frantic. Some were clearly testing the limits of how much a cart could hold.

Interesting times.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Dow first crossed 23,000 October 2017. Going backwards, but if you live long enough you’ll be fine. So no worries, 80 is the new 50.

I'm losing my nerve, boys.

I could sell now, after a tremendous 11 year run in stocks, with the market down 15% from its highs but I'm flattish over 12 months.

So I'd be giving up one year of return.

I mean I have enough money...i don't need to grow my money all that much. Just keeping up with inflation would be fine.

And we don't know what this virus is going to do to the global economy. we have a recession for sure unless it ends next weekish.

I don't think I really want to wait 3 years to get my money back.

Maybe I should go from 60% stocks down to 35% stocks and preserve wealth for a while.

I dunno. I'm assuming I can sell at these levels on Monday.

But maybe I shouldn't be a moderate investor anymore, given where I am in life.

One should model a 60% stock portfolio becomes 30%, factor time horizon, and work from there. Hedges could reduce the downside some, but in this environment consider it may not work. The other issue is profession, and other asset correlated with markets. What is the balance?

Scared this was the shortest bear market ever. Took a beating today. Do I chase the rally or sit tight for better deals? Is cramer saying buy buy buy?

Cramer is not saying Buy, and he looked very stressed today. There is this TSLA bull that had a ridiculous price target and future assumptions. She was on Squawk Box this morning and was babbling shell shocked. Several weeks ago so cocky yet delusional.

It all depends on time horizon.

If you are saving for retirement 5 or more years down the road - go be aggressive.

If your time horizon is shorter or if you have enough money already, then your portfolio should be less aggressive.

yeah I just took a pay cut this month beside my market losses. Total correlation.

Will be a long weekend of pondering.

At a minimum I'm sure I'll sell something material on Monday, assuming condtions are ok.

But I'm keeping my trading account - so nothing changes there.
