You were right, agip, German decline was a typo.
Buffering the bad news was that notoriously prudent financial ministers vowed to spend any amount necessary to support ordinary life in Germany (but not necessarily bad actors in the finance sector).
Pulled back a little since.
Just got another trade alert, “close all longs and open crash shorts”, from a paranoid advisory that I read anyway, as part of the spectrum. This one has historically been long value.

sounds like congress is going to announce a trillion dollar stimulus package or some such thing.

Stimulus is garbage, but that notwithstanding, the shape of today’s action is encouraging. IMO much will depend on weekend news cycle, and the pattern going into close.
Stimulus. They STILL will not let malinvestment die. If this works I will ride the wave back up, but after that they will have only essentially 1 bullet left. This one looks like it still might have some effect, amazingly. It is because markets and big business live in their own universe, not in a normal economic universe.
We are all just remoras. Hopefully we will get a good meal out of this. Drumpf re-election is not dead yet, not by a long shot.

Why do that to yourself? Unneeded anxiety. When the markets tank like this I will eyeball a bit the markets but I refuse to open up my brokerage accounts. Too stressful. Just wait until the markets rebound and your portfolios have improved.

Pelosi would never work in tandem with Trump to pass an effective anti-virus bill. She knows the current situation is hurting Trump and would never do something (even though it may benefit the country) to change the situation.

Normally I would agree, but I’ve been heavily in cash and am trying to manage some buy orders.
Just got back from the grocery store. Figured I’d beat the weekend rush. The place was packed, and there was palpable anxiety in the air. Bottled water was flying off the shelves, and TP was gonzo. No sign of price gouging, there were actually a bunch of good deals. Corned beef was really cheap, and cabbage was 19 cents per pound.
Nice day, very profitable, and yes, i did more than just check my brokerage a couple of times...
