The DOJ is asking for a 25 year sentence for Stew "Eyeball" Rhodes, the Oather who was convicted last year of seditious conspiracy. Rhodes is a hamhock. He got busted. To his credit, I don't recall him throwing the blame on Trump like a lot of these rioters do when they get busted.

Rhodes has violent priors and is widely known to be a nutjob. His family had to escape from him, and they have all publicly said he is completely bananas and violent. I think the DOJ just wants this Rhodes guy locked up until he is old, so he can't harm anyone else. Rhodes is so whacked, I don't even think Trump will pardon him when he gets re-elected.
