In November, South Dakota GOP candidate Joel Koskan's family member stepped forward to say he groomed and raped her for years. The victim is his adoptive daughter. Koskan ran unsuccessfully for the state Senate in 2022, and just days before the election, he was arrested on charges relating to child abuse. He pleaded guilty to two counts of felony incest on Tuesday morning.
As we noted in November, contraception was rarely used, Koskan, who describes himself as a Christian, is against abortion exceptions for rape and incest. The grooming of his daughter began when she was 12 years old. Koskan has five children.

He was sentenced in a Hughes County courtroom to 10 years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary.

That is surprising to me that Nancy does not drink. Besides the random pictures/video of her drinking aired over time, it was a great explanation for the behavior!

'Conservatives' need to stop fighting the blue. Now we have to support these chaps in prison for years. Better than another right-wing insurrection though.

WASHINGTON — A man who crushed D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer Daniel Hodges with a police shield on Jan. 6 was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in federal prison on Friday.

Patrick McCaughey III, who was dubbed #ThePinman by online sleuths, was present during some of the worst violence inside the lower west tunnel, the spot where presidents emerge during inauguration ceremonies. McCaughey was sentenced by Judge Trevor McFadden, a Donald Trump appointee who previously delivered the only full acquittal for a Jan. 6 defendant to date and has imposed more lenient sentences than other judges in the Capitol riot cases.

Federal prosecutors sought a sentence of more than 15 years — 188 months — in federal prison, which would have broken the record for the longest sentence in a Jan. 6 case: the 10-year sentence given to former New York City Police Department officer Thomas Webster.

Yeah, there've been a lot of doctored videos and photos of her. Old people can walk and talk funny without drinking--I would know!

But yeah, she's been a teetotaler for many years. Dunno whether it's the same reason Presidents Trump and Biden don't drink: alcoholism in the family. She's said to have a soda like once a year. Crazy abstemious!

So apparently America has decided to make the fate of trans kids the most important issue in American politics today. The right got its clock cleaned on gay marriage so it has now latched on to trans kids as the chariot to bring it to power.

Truly, this is a stupid country half the time. Maybe a quarter of the time.

The left is pushing the trans stuff. They are the ones who needed a new issue after gay marriage. The right is just responding to it.

But here's the difference:

Virtually no elected Ds are pushing trans stuff. Certainly not elected leadership. They'll nod and not stir the boat. The unelected, non-leadership activists are the ones amplified by the right wing media.

Whereas in the GOP both elected officials and party bosses are all pushing anti-trans stuff all day every day.

apples to oranges. R leadership wants trans stuff to be the most important factor when voters make their decision who to vote for. Dem leadership doesn't really care.

Ask yourself why Rs want this minor thing to be the rope that tows America around.

Are you saying Biden isn't pushing executive orders regarding what "gender-affirming" treatments must be legal and what alternatives must be banned?

And blue states aren't passing laws threatening to take custody away from parents?

And blue states aren't shutting down hospitals that don't go along with trans surgeries?

But I will not read right wing media interpretations - we all have seen in the Dominion case how Fox News purposefully publishes false information to keep the rubes angry. I won't read that merde.
