You agreed with me but you don't see it. Someday MDs and other scientists will be able to specifically identify the genetic advantage possessed by every gold medalist. Let it go. How often do we see cases like Semenya. Making Semenya take drugs to lower natural T-level is a dangerous road to travel. Some day we will be able to identify a specific gene possessed by David & Daniel Rudisha. Some day we will be able to identify a specific gene possessed by Konchellah family. Do we make all future Rudishas and future Konchellahs take a depressant to make it fair for your kids to compete against future Rudishas and future Konchellas? No!
This is a terrible comparison, and instead of arguing with you about it here, why don't you read a few of the in depth articles about this subject? There are plenty.
In other, and great news, Semenya might have to lower her testosteron or not compete, according to a source. Great, great news for female middle distance.
It only seems to be terrible comparison to you because no gene as of now has been isolated carried by Rudishas or Konchellahs. We could include the Dibaba clan in the gene discussion too. If there were such a gene isolated, many on letsrun would wouldn't mind the runners near the equator in east Africa suffering the gene punishment. What about the McLaughlin family and their 400m gene? We'll have the Cunningham high jump gene issue. This will hit favorites on letsrun someday. How about the unfair Centrowitz genetic trait. No need to point me to read magazines and newspaper articles. If this all were that simple, Semenya would've been either banned or forced to take drugs to alter Semenya's T-level years ago.
