Apologies for injecting a serious note, but there was a really thought-provoking opinion piece in today's NYTimes that seconds this emotion: "If Liberals Hate Trump, He's Doing It Right." Some excerpts:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[C]onservatism, with its belief in ordered liberty, is being eclipsed by something different: Loathing those who loathe the president. Rabid anti-anti-Trumpism.
In a . . . monologue this month, [Rush] Limbaugh embraced the new reality in which conservative ideas and principles had been displaced by anti-liberalism. For years, Mr. Limbaugh ran what he called the “Institute for Advanced Conservative Studies.†But in the Trump era, he told his audience, he has changed that to the “Institute for Advanced Anti-Leftist Studies.â€
With Mr. Trump in the White House, conservative principles were no longer the point. . . . [Limbaugh] went on to emphasize that the campaign was not about conservatism, because that’s not what Mr. Trump is about.
That was a remarkable admission, but it is also a key to understanding what is happening on the right[: Much] of the conservative news media is now less pro-Trump than it is anti-anti-Trump. The distinction is important, because anti-anti-Trumpism has become the new safe space for the right.
Here is how it works: Rather than defend President Trump’s specific actions, his conservative champions change the subject to (1) the biased “fake news†media, (2) over-the-top liberals, (3) hypocrites on the left, (4) anyone else victimizing Mr. Trump or his supporters and (5) whataboutism, as in “What about Obama?†“What about Clinton?â€
For the anti-anti-Trump pundit, whatever the allegation against Mr. Trump, whatever his blunders or foibles, the other side is always worse.
But the real heart of anti-anti-Trumpism is the delight in the frustration and anger of his opponents. Mr. Trump’s base is unlikely to hold him either to promises or tangible achievements, because conservative politics is now less about ideas or accomplishments than it is about making the right enemies cry out in anguish.

BOY have you got me wrong: 40 years a voter and never a vote on the Dem/Liberal line, for any office.
[Also I detest all the Abrahamic death cults, Islam in particular.]
You may want to actually read the article. Seriously: It's an important point for those who consider themselves conservatives.

Well, lets see. Let's imagine some claims to support/deny the claim. Guess what just happened? Now the world has quite a bit of information on your intelligence capabilities.
Where are your facts supporting the counter argument?
If you don't think Russia, or any one of a dozen other countries aren't all over the country attempting to influence the nation's business, I just don't know what to say.

So, you can just claim whatever you want and never give any evidence? LOL
No, there is no counter argument if there is no argument in the first place.

Yes, of course they are and so is the US everywhere over the world trying to influence everything. This is what is so stupid about this russophobia.

Agree here! I think this whole Russia business will turn out to be a big bunch of nothing, just like the Benghazi and email BS. It would be nice to talk about *policy*, but I guess that's not allowed nowadays...
It is true please don't mess with the anti Christ dude is going to end this world :(
Why are Republicans so against naming a special prosecutor to take a look at the Russia allegations? They investigated Bill Clinton for his entire presidency, and we had 12 investigations into Benghazi. Surely a potential assault on one of the foundations of our democracy -- free elections -- deserves a look?
Saudi Arabia tried to influence the election with millions on dollars.

Trump is above Christ. He even believes he is above God.
"I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness." [The Orange One doesn't have to ask a lesser entity for forgiveness]
"When people wrong you, go after those people, because it is a good feeling and because other people will see you doing it. I always get even." [Better be faithful to the Orange One]
"We proudly proclaim that we are one nation under God every time we say the Pledge of Allegiance." [implying pleading allegiance and undying loyalty to the Orange One]
This Russian thing is going nowhere and there will be no direct ties to Trump. He historically does not do illegal things. He usually resorts to screwing people over, taking advantage, taking false credit and intimidating.
Of course this kind of governship can only last for a short while.
But looking into Russia for Trump collusion is a red herring. Press need to give it up and stick to the true goal of the inquiry, which is to understand Russia's role in the election.
