so many changes for qualifying spots in the women's steeple and they missed all of them...but they knew EC would win...so at least they got that right!

Centro pulled a Kiprop. He hung out last, saved energy, and qualified for the next round. He ran brillianty.

Steeplechase. Wow. What a race. Friedrichs destroyed everyone except Coburn the last 200m.

Quigley and Freirichs, the rookies, ran like veterans, and Garcia and O'Connor ran... well, without canniness.
