Thyroid meds > epo?
Alberto Salazar is trending worldwide on twitter.
Maybe the best Olympic track race I've ever seen. Wow! My throat hurts from screaming.

I'll be interested to see whether one of Rupp or Farah gets busted.
Because you need drugs to run 27:30, right?

I believe Bekele is the first to win three 10,000m medals.
He hasn't.
So far, nobody has won 3 medals in the 10k.

What were the Kenyans and Ethiopians thinking leaving this easy for the kick after seeing what Farah did last year and what Rupp did to Lagat at trials.

Was it the Ukrainian dude that provided a slow-moving obstacle in the penultimate lap? What was his problem?

1964 and 2000 were also heart stopping
Brits get gold in M10K, M Long Jump, W Heptathlon. Not a bad day.
Sadly,
Almost all of America will forget who Galen Rupp is in a few days, if that.
All the papers will have huge articles about Michael Phelps- and a slight mention of Rupp.
Decades ago this would have made him a household name.
Just another sign of the sad sad decline of track and field in America- even as the athletes are as impressive as they have ever been.
