Prok wins, times were just ok. Addison R doesn't appear to be as strong as she was in the past.
Niwot pack ran today (and could open things up a bit in the last mile if they wanted) on both the girls and boys side. Addison will be just fine.
Pack ran and could’ve open up more? Then pray tell how did they manage to get 5 other runners in between them to beat each other? Sorry but it’s obvious they were putting in top effort. Otherwise they need to learn how to race when it counts

It's hilarious to read the posts of the braindead haters on this board. Anything to try to cut down the winners. I was at the Centaurus meet, I have a kid at Niwot, and they 100% pack ran at tempo for 2+ miles, per coach's instructions. They don't give a damn about a meet in September or October when their season goal is placing high at NXN. Ya'll are playing checkers when Coach Kelly is playing chess.

Also, pack running and tempo running are 2 different things. So did they pack run and then tempo the rest? Or do they all have the same tempo pace? I certainly wouldn't put Ritz at the same tempo pace as I would the rest of the girls.

Tempo defines a range, not a precise pace. Yes, some of the girls had to work harder at the top of their range while others were probably at the low end in order for them to stay together. Also true that they aren't in postseason shape the first weekend in September. That's literally the point, which is why it's ridiculous to say someone has fallen off because they're not running PR's. They're going to be just fine, which is more than I can say for the ones redlining every weekend in September and October trying to get headlines.
The girls individual title seems to be up for grabs this year
But remember that last year, things likewise seemed very open in September, even throughout October. Hedengren struggled at Woodbridge, and it really wasn't until NXR SW that people realized she was on an entirely other level.

Good point. Same thing happened with N Cook and I Riggs.
Someone from the 1-10 group should step up with a big improvement.
Ritz and perhaps Leachman will come on strong at end of season.
Woodbridge coming up does give us first serious look at some contenders.
I think that Heritage was pack running/tempoing today at Liberty Bell. I was there and I know what I saw. (Insert eye roll)
Heritage is legit! They have a deep team that Niwot won't be able to touch. Schwalm is out of Ritzenhein's league. Vista's team looked good, but has room to improve.
Chaparral and Air Academy are out of range for NXN.
National rankings need to make better observations on Heritage.
Queensbury invite showcased the top NY girls teams today.
Champlain valley VT wins. Then Shen - Bethlehem - Toga in that order (as I think most expected). Times were faster this year than last year so I’ll wait for the SR’s to get a better gauge but Champlain valley’s average was faster than Bethlehem’s last year (who placed 5th at nxn) they could be a sleeper for sure.
Someone in the NY thread said that Shen’s #4 is doing Soccer this year which is really unfortunate for them. They will still be a very very good team, but I realistically saw them as a podium threat at NXN before that news. Thier #1 does look incredibly strong though. Because all the top teams are in section 2, they will race eachother a lot and we will see how the season plays out.
