if anyone would like to a foregleam of uncontrolled full unchecked, modern day, GOP rule, please keep up with some of the draconian stuff we see here with the Florida Legislation. It is essentially a Fox News Grievance form of Evangelical wish list rulership. And your Michael Flynns and Bannons (both criminals who should both be in prison) have aspirations of rolling it to you all nationwide. This is why the GOP has no use for free and fair elections. Rupert Murdoch, chairman of the conservative media empire that owns Fox News, acknowledged in a deposition that several hosts for his networks promoted the false narrative that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald J. Trump, and that he could have stopped them but didn’t, court documents released on Monday showed.

“They endorsed,” Mr. Murdoch said under oath in response to direct questions about the Fox hosts Sean Hannity, Jeanine Pirro, Lou Dobbs and Maria Bartiromo, according to a legal filing by Dominion Voting Systems. “I would have liked us to be stronger in denouncing it in hindsight,” he added, while also disclosing that he was always dubious of Mr. Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud.

Asked whether he doubted Mr. Trump, Mr. Murdoch responded: “Yes. I mean, we thought everything was on the up-and-up.”

2/ When pressed, Fox argues no one in his right mind should believe what Tucker Carlson says - he's like the National Enquirer, just entertainment for the rubes.

3/ Fox is blaring at military sites all across the world, propagandizing young men with guns, telling them that our democracy has been stolen. These men will take up arms again against the US again, and it's the fault of Fox and the GOP.

What percentage of regular Fox viewers and election deniers will take in some of this information and change their opinions about Fox and about the election being stolen?

5%? Is their one poster here who understands now and who will acknowledge with a post that they were wrong? I think we all know the answer to the second question.

Our democracy has been severely wounded by Trump and Fox and their lies. The court cases exposing truth are saving our democracy.

Yes. Like many here, I have spent time over the years pointing out how Fox News has poisoned this country in a blatant manner with lies under the banner of "fair and balanced". But these recent revelations are beyond belief. All of them admitting under oath that they were liars and promoted the big lie because it was profitable to lie to their viewers. And they attacked anyone at Fox internally that might actually tell the truth and harm their money making scheme. The right wing viewers will not care whatsoever that their beloved network has admitted that they lie and manipulate them for money. Fox News will settle and continue to "report the news" and manipulate this country.

One thing these revelations reveal is the motive behind the right wing shift to an authoritarian state. It is not an ideology that is motivating them. It is simply money. Same with Trump. He has no ideology. His moves are all personal enrichment.

Note that no conservatives on the thread have condemned fox for its lies At the expense of the country. They like the lies. They like that a major news network is in the bag for m’aga.

Rupert Murdoch admitted at least two bombshells under oath:
1) that he—the chairman of a news org—provided debate strategy and info about Biden ads to Jared Kushner
2) that multiple Fox hosts knowingly endorsed false narratives about a stolen election

These are precisely the same things that Right wingers accuse the other side of doing. They still claim that Biden only won because of nefarious things going on behind the scenes to help him one or steal the vote that they have no proof of whatsoever. I have never found any exception to the rule: Every right wing accusation is a confession. But we can go one step further. It seems that if the right wingers are in unison with an accusation it means that the right wingers are engaging in this wrongdoing with fervor at that very time.

Looking forward to Dominion causing massive budget cuts at FoxNews and advertisers bailing in droves after the verdict.

The ironic thing here is that Fox News viewers truly believe that they have found themselves an exclusive source of truth that is hidden to the unwashed masses by the "mainstreet media". (aka Enemy of the people). Not unlike our right wing posters here that claim that truth about the vaccine, immigration and the war in Russia can only be found with their youtube sources and not the diabolical main street media.
