Ken (Kip), I'm assuming that the character that is writing knows very little about running because otherwise he would know that nobody honestly is DQd from race after race for not completing the course.
Then there is the issue of fabricated races and race results, not just one which would be hard enough to ignore.
For what its worth I ran in a 5k race with Kip in 2007. I know him but we are not friends. It was the Run for a Remedy 5k in Lake Orion Mi. It was an out and back so you can see who's in the lead even if you are in back. I was quite a ways back when I saw him coming back at me in the lead by a bunch. The weird part was he used a phony name trying to be funny "Justin Sayne". I always wondered why he would do that. He is pretty fast though. He won the race in 17:39. With that kind of speed why would someone cheat?
This is a dead end thread. Nothing, I repeat, nothing new has been shared on these pagees. It's just like the tv show 'Friends' - a show/thread about nothing. I've no idea why Rojo would resurrect it. Poor idea.

Your other assertion is way off base also. When this thread started we suspected that Kip cheated, but know we know for sure he didn't.
What is not a dead end about this thread is that Kippy and his friends/aliases are staying on it. I followed the orig thread and while kippy popped iN to defend himself...the defense has been unrelenting here. I rather wonder if he's paid repuatation.com or some such to keep on it...in which case of he's getting dinged a couple dollars every time a defense is posted I'm good keeping it alive just to get back at him.

So we have a 17:16 5k, a 2:53 marathon and a 17:39 5k that are legit and 8 Boston Marathons without a DQ. I've never heard of anyone cheating to run slower times than they have already run. I think we need to seriously consider that this guy might be the real deal.
Kip's not talented enough for him to ever break 18 for 5k without cheating. He's a fat toad. Lets see if he can even break 20
At our school class reunion we had a one mile fun run. I was 2nd in 5:04 and Kip was a couple seconds behind me. We were about 46-47 then. He's got the wheels for a mile, after that I couldn't tell you.

Who has way more DQs to his name than every runner I know combined (and I know a lot).
Who also makes up fictitious races and results.
Who also posts here under far too numerous personas to list pretending that there is grass-roots support for him.
Who also posts on here pretending to be legit runners from races he has allegedly raced in.

After reading all the posts, I went from thinking he definitely cheated, to maybe he cheated, to he definitely didn't cheat.
I kind of feel bad that he's a victim of an internet lynch mob.
He couldn't possibly have cheated, he's a family man who has done so much good for so many people.
No runner in the midwest over age 50 wants any part of facing Kip in distances ranging from the 5k to the marathon. He cam win by setting a scorching pace from the start or hang back and use his superior speed to kick down all who dare challenge him.
I just talked to my girlfriend. She said she believes all the kip support is coming from kip himself. She doesn't usually visit letsrun but she's heard all about kip Litton from me. On our first date at Ruby Tuesdays, we talked all about that guy in the new yorker article who cheated in road races and I thank Kip for his deeds because it really helped break the ice.
