Who made accusations of drugs against Hedengren? The only gripe I see is that she is 19 and in her final U20 year already in 2025.
Mostly, I'm surprised how few posts Jane gets here period, compared to Hasay, Touhy, Wiley when she is running even faster and breaking all the records.
What are you talking about? She’s by far the best female HS distance runner in history and there’s been at least a hundred posts alone, about how tall she is. Her NXN win and her 2-mile and 5000m records received extensive coverage on LR

Well, are you including post-high school numbers for Wiley, Hasay, and Tuohy? Hasay especially has MANY extra years of competing that could generate mention, being she is in her mid-30s and did well in college and as a pro. Also, while Jane did run well in younger years, she really came into her own this year
There have been 100 times more accusations made against Wiley and Valby. There have been 10 times more made against Hedegren than Tuohy.

Astro is the main one, and also she is 18 until September, no need to round 18.75 up to the next year.
Faster than Tuohy's lifetime PRs at only 18 years old.
Times are not comparable due to the evolvement of shoe technology and training method. Tuohy dominated her competition during 4 years of high school and 1 year in college. Jane dominated her competition for 1 year in Hs, so she still has some work to do in college.
Huh? Did Tuohy retire? I was under the impression that she is still running utilizing the best technology and training. It isn't like we are talking about Mary Slaney. Jane is faster than Tuohy right now. She is faster than Tuohy's lifetime bests. What a silly post.

it’s a little beyond your comprehension, but let me try it anyways. Damages may have already been done during her four years of HS running. Her biggest need is probably rehab and recovery techniques, not any new training techniques that could cause more harm to an overused body. She had that during her freshman year at NC State. Even if Tuohy retires today, she would’ve still achieved more than anything you can dream of in your current and next life.So you should just shut up and go away.
Huh? Jane is faster than her lifetime bests. You are providing new info regarding permanent damage. What the heck is that about? And stay away from personal attacks.

She's very good; she's not within spitting distance of being the best. How many World Records and American Records has she broken? I think that number is zero and the most likely number when she retires will be zero WRs. There are a lot of people here who are uninformed about Mary Decker.
"When she was 12, she competed in the Pakis Verde Marathon one day ran the 440 and 880in an age-group meet the next. The following Saturday she ran the 440, 880, mile, and two-mile. The day after she had her appendix out..... In 1973, at 14, Decker was eligible to enter "open" races against the best women in the country. She beats of 4:37.4 in the mile and 2:02.4 in the 800. ...... In February 1974 she set an indoor World Record of 2:02.4 in San Diego. In July she win the USA vs. USSR 800 meters in 2:02.3. From Kenny Moore, Best Efforts, @1983.
By the way, what is Jane's 800 PR. Was it set on an old indoor track (11 laps per mile?). Also Jane had a great senior year but was not at that level at 14 (no 4:37 miles).

Hedengren is the best HS distance runner in history. That's the claim and that is the case. What she did at 14 is irrelevant unless we change the claim to the best 14 year old in history.
