Nice, not an easy one to nail

If Rupp hd gotten top 3 without the standard, does that mean only two Americans would have gone?
The USA 10k future looks good. The collegians went for the standard from the start. Shows guts, especially since most of them ran big PB’s last week. In three years some of them will be Olympian’s.
This True is 35, Say the same thing I said about Merritt, why would you want a guy to make the team who has no chance to do anything? Put the best team over there.

Cringe. Unpleasant comment.

Or would they go to the top 3 with the standard?

I get it Bowerman definitely has lost some credibility with the whole Houlihan thing however HOW CAN YOU HATE GRANT FISHER that man is an ABSOLUTE UNIT on the track
Eh, once it was closed to non-standard-havers, it was pretty easy. I said halfway, GF, Kincaid, and Bor. Good for Klecker though. Well done.

Looks like he might have been wearing ON?!?
Klecker is 24 but looks 36…

Yes, top 3 with standard.

This guilt by association vibe on here is so high school. I am a Grant fan and I think he is clean.

Why? Because I don't agree with switching countries to make an Olympic team?

Yes, top 3 with standard.
There used to be a time window where those in that situation (finishing top 3 without OLQ) could still go chase it after the Trials (before the Olympics starts).

I feel so bad for True. Is he in the 5k??
Yes, I think so.
He still is gonna have a heck of time beating the young guns down the stretch. 35 year olds just don't have that kind of turnover anymore unless they are on the sauce. And I'm not talking about the garlic butter sauce for his Maine lobster.

Woody & Grant & Joe all (presumably) coming back in the 5k.
However, if one of them makes the 5k team then drops the 10k, Ben True makes it to Tokyo.
If two of them make the 5k team and both drop the 10k, then Emmanuel Bor makes it to Tokyo.

…are you familiar with the stories of the American runners in that race who were born in Africa and how they achieved citizenship? Stupid racist comment that you made.
Well, their coach doesn't even know what nandrolone is so how could he be a cheater?
Riddle me that, geniuses.
Someone earlier theorized that if Fisher, Kincaid, or Klecker (or any combination) make the 5k team as well then they could essentially gift True a spot on the team
True has missed two world's teams in three attempts at 5K/10K, all with 4th place, and missed his previous Olympic shot with a fifth. So 4th, 4th, 5th, 4th and now 4th again. He has some kind of record for being the bridesmaid, staring hungrily at the altar.
He does have the 5000 Oly standard, along with 12 others.
