Look at UNC. They just released 5 black coaches from a sport that is predominately dominated by black athletes (4 paid and 1 volunteer). They kept their sprint coach. Which largely plays into most NCAA programs. White wash the entire program but keep the one designated sprint coach for 'diversity'.
Pretty sad post, blindly resorting to the race card because you didn't get your way. UNC just made a coaching change at the top. The new coach brought in most of their own staff, which is very typical of what coaches do. He knows he better win or he is out. And you went straight to the gutter and accuse him of being part of "the gold ol' boy system" and saying he is "white washing".
You decided to get your panties in a bunch because their weren't enough people of the right color on the newly hired staff. Instead of looking at these individuals as Mike, John, Joe, and Shawn, you see them as four white guys and a token black. I feel sorry for anyone that goes through life with a color centric view of every situation. Take your identity politics elsewhere. The UNC coaching staff have a conference championship they are trying to win.

Calm down, Cowboy! Relax! Some people are just caught up seeing everything through the lens of race, gender, and class. And they don't see people as individuals! And this is especially true of people who don't get their way.
Great news! We can not quit reading 25 posts a day about the Stanford job! Any other updates on all of the other coaching positions open?

As far as sprints jobs are concerned word on the streets of Drake has been that Texas A&M Arizona USF Memphis and Western Kentucky will all make their announcements after USAs.
Louisville Miami CSUN are starting their searches.

Rinker was in over his head at Northeastern as a stop watch holder. He was doomed to fail miserably at LSU.
