People you thought were your friends teammates classmates ... People you tried to impress and intimidate with your deceit and manipulation ... You will wonder if they know even though they say nothing ... They all know by now ... Girls and friends will slowly start to exclude you and say no thanks to hanging out or even being seen with you. Others will seem to be warming up to you but can you trust them or are they doing it with an agenda.
No one should suffer like you will for the next couple of months.
Even at church when you seek forgiveness will you be able to confess ? Or have to live with the aim eating away at your core like a snake from within.
What you face here on this public pillory for running cheats known as the Letsrun crucible is nothing compared to what faces you in real life going forward. And years from now when you feel you are past it and good ... A coworker, friend, or girlfriend will suddenly become distant and leave you without explanation and you will wonder if they surfed the Internet and saw the Manhattan Bandit. Other friendships, jobs, and relationships will never even begin because of the notoriety.
You have a tough road to travel and you can't cheat life, you have to take every step on your journey yourself. No skipping or tagging out. The infamy shame and guilt will be with you forever like a telltale heart beating.
Good luck you made mistakes go redeem yourself and have a good life.

Doesn't he also cut in early in this race? Watch again and I'm sure he cuts in before he should (although so do a couple of other runners).

Agree, but if he came clean now with a full admission he could just blame it all on youth, let's face it, we all did stupid things when we were young, but the longer he leaves it the harder it's going to get and the repercussions are going to be greater and longer lasting. All very sad really.
