Smart tactics, actually, by Rowbury to make it slow. If it's a cooker from the start, everyone but the favorites don't have a chance. Make it an 800 meter race and it's a tossup. Most of those women can close in close to 2 minutes off a slow pace. Couldn't do it off a fast pace.
What is with NBC's love of Devon Allen and basically no mention of Ash? Race? Oregon and Nike? It was very weird.

Womens 1500 m final. Every one waiting to see who was going to make a big move to try to run the kick out of Dibaba. Who suspected it would be Dibaba? Not me.

He is the Olympic trials champ and Best chance at the win for the US. They barely mentioned Frances and Hastings in the 400 final. The only American mentioned in the SP coverage was Michelle Carter. They will probably talk about Centro in the 1500 final and just mention Andrews or Blankenship in passing if they make the final.

I haven't had enough Zac Efron, I'm really hoping they can find a way to talk about him having NBC pay to fly him to Rio more considering what a great accomplishment and Olympic story that is, hopefully the stations can keep talking about him tonight!
