FWIW, front page of ESPN is showing that Benjamin won the gold after DQ overturned.
Regardless of the outcome, to me it would be crazy to DQ someone, overturn the DQ, and then overturn the decision to overturn the DQ. Whatever you feel the “correct” decision should be here, that process would be terrible.
Incredible run for Amy Hunt to get silver in that field. Jefferson-Wooden is pure class though. I know her coach is shady as hell but congrats to her on a season for ages

A common sense outcome would be to award another bronze to Nathanial while keeping Benjamin as champ. Benjamin didn't gain an advantage from clattering the barrier, if anything, it cost him. But Nathaniel can legitimately say the barrier being out of place affected his stride and approach to that barrier by at least a tenth. Awarding another bronze doesn't really matter, it's not like awarding a second gold
Will be rooting for this guy to get his first global medal. Your time will come big dawg
Still a chance it'll end up being today.
What he wants and thinks doesn't actually matter. You think Nigerian track and field will pass on a medal because their athlete is philosophical about the situation?
