Another Forsyth?!? She’s a freshman.
And Klemmer has a younger sister.

On X it says that it’s 3.12 miles this year

Beshears misses Ava Bushaw's 16:43 CR. I think Rogers gave Flower Mound a reality check.
Flower Mounds best runner did not run this meet. Also half the course is on turf and very narrow. So if you get stuck your not passing.

I’ve gotta ask…I’m from New York and I’m looking at the splits from the Texas meet and I’m wondering why basically everyone is positive splitting to an extreme level. Do Texas races just go out really fast?! because this is not a thing in NY. Or is this timing system just really off… a lot of these girls are adding 20-30 seconds each mile until the end?
That last split is 1.12 miles. The last mike plus the .12 for the 5k. So the last split always looks slow.

*Last mile...
That course is essentially running on turf and soccer fields and the little that is in the park is pristine… so basically a road race.

FM held out top 2 at least.

Still wouldn't have helped, but good to know.

Prok wins, times were just ok. Addison R doesn't appear to be as strong as she was in the past.

Put them in at 5th and 6th and they win.
At the worst they're very close.

Not sure you understand how scoring works... what are the PRs of the girls you say were held out?

I'm pretty sure they're better than Aledo's Garrison girl. Don't look at PRs for XC. Texas courses are wild.
For a better reference, they ran 1732 and 1733 last week while Garrison ran 1812 or something like that.

Adeline Bennett and Liana Cluley-Garza im assuming is who they are talking about. Last weekend at Flower Mound's opener they were both ~40 seconds ahead of the girl that finished first for Flower Mount today, which would put them in around 5th/6th.
Maybe Cluley-Garza is a stretch based on past results but Adeline Bennett was comfortably better than all the Rogers girls other than Lilly Beshears last year.

Am not following. I don't see a single 17:32 and 17:33 at Marcus T for any Flower Mound girls.
