trump lawyers could get disciplined for filing frivolous lawsuits for donny
Duty To Warn 🔉 @duty2warn A fed'l judge has sanctioned Trump's lawyers (including Alina Habba) for filing a massive, frivolous lawsuit objecting to the Russia probe. The judge called it "performative litigation," and a "shotgun lawsuit," saying it should get the attention of the Bar and other authorities.
Democrats faced criticism this year for investing nearly $19 million in the primary races of far-right Republican candidates, but their gamble appeared to pay off on election night. According to an analysis by The Washington Post, Democrats intervened in 13 primary races to support the more extreme right-wing Republican, in the hopes that the Republican would be easier to defeat in the general election against a Democratic opponent. Of the six of those Republicans who won the primary, all of them lost their general election races by Wednesday.

That tactic is illegal, Agip. Dirty pool. Farcical artifice of fraudulence (FAF). The perpetrators will be charged when we take over the judicial system.
Montana residents voted no on the "Born-Alive Infant Protection Act," which would have required medical attention for infants born alive after an abortion.
Infanticide has been common throughout history. In China, they would have a cold bucket of water next to the mother giving birth and drown unwanted (primarily female) babies at birth. The Japanese had a term mabiki for it, that roughly translates as "thinning an overgrown garden" where they would place wet rice paper over the infants mouth and suffocate them. The truth is, people throughout history have had different viewpoints as far as what constitutes an acceptable time to end a human life. Some feel it is at fetal viability, others at conception, others at six months post birth. It really shouldn't be left to the federal level to make that decision. The state level is better, because people have more influence over legislation and people can choose to live in a state whose viewpoints more closely reflect their beliefs. I feel the Montana law is barbaric, but I don't have to live there. We will never have a consensus on abortion in this country, so there is no reason it should be legislated at the federal level. The repeal of Roe v Wade gets this issue right. Leave it to the states.
There is a reason most of these election delays are in Democratic counties. They mail everyone a ballot and have in person voting, so a lot of people vote twice hoping it doesn't get flagged. It's how they win a lot of elections. Pretty much every state that automatically mails out ballots goes blue (other than Utah).

Laxalt is now up by just slightly more than 8,000 votes in NV with ~95,000 votes outstanding in primarily Democratic areas (only 7,000 of those votes in a red-leaning area). Laxalt might still win, but it's going to be tough for him to do so, and in any event, it's going to be close.
Kelly is very likely to win in AZ (I predict he will), and Warnock will win the runoff in GA, but we shall see what happens in NV.
The best thing about this election is that Donald Trump was the biggest loser. It is clear that members of the GOP are ready to move on from him, and that's a great thing for our country. Next step is to hold him legally accountable for his crimes.
Overnight it looks like two developments: Kelly won in AZ - Dems have kept the senate in AZ. Boebert won in CO - that was a great hope but she'll be back, and crazier than ever. NV is static - still an 80-85% of the D winning AZ governor is still a coin flip
NV SEN update, From Andrea Mitchell, a good reporter. Sounds like the R is still leading but the remaining votes are coming from Las Vegas so likely to be heavily Dem. Which is why odds are still 80%+ for a D win.
Breaking from Nevada per @SteveKornaki tonight’s batch of votes from Washoe County (Reno) has helped Cortes Masto whittle Laxalt’s statewide lead down to 8054 votes, less than 1%. Still to come 65,000 ballots dropped off in drop boxes on Election Day in Clark County, Las Vegas
