Gabe is a classy guy. I have a lot of respect for him. But he was likely one of the least qualified applicants for the job at Stanford to begin with. Look at the results from Boston University, his athletes always got crushed by Albany and Binghamton and Maine in the America East and crushed by non-scholarship teams in the Patriot League.
Gabe can just go across the Bay and for Robyne again. Nice guy, average coach.
What about the Colorado Mesa Head Coaching Job? Was posted like 6 weeks ago and nothing updated?

Agree 100%, he posts his workouts, they look like they were written by someone at Altis. He bragged about his 800 girl (Baker) never running anything longer than 20 minutes going into NCAA's and then she gets walked the last 400 by 5 girls. The fastest 400 in the field and she can't finish with them, you missed something in training.
But, he can talk and he can smooze, will go along way in this biz, not to mention being a minority.

Absolutely. Gabe bragged so much about Baker - but she ran fast in spite of Gabe not because of Gabe. She ran 2:05 and 52.46 in the open 400 in HIGH SCHOOL. She had a decent year as a sophomore with Gabe but severely underachieved as a junior and senior. With her talent she should be a multiple time NCAA champ in the 800. Big time disappointment.
Gabe points to Olivia as his crowning achievement as a coach but everyone else sees that as a massive failure.

It’s a process, not a cluster. A director a staff and this is a big decision on the Farm. According to AD,phone interviews were concluded two weeks ago. On campus interviews started last week. Team is fine. Summer plans provided by coaches (before departure) are being followed. Kinda exciting to see who it’s gonna be. Milt didn’t make the team. The team makes the team and they are all in.
Alleyene Francique has been offered (and he's accepted) the LSU distance job.
