Epic thread that I remember well. Based on your effort, one of my kids at the time, well, still my kid :-) tried 1mi each hour for a day. Made it to 13 mi and then remembered that there was a team practice at 6pm that day. Think it was a rough practice.

It wasn't a big deal to me. Helped me break up the monotony of it all. Me and the gf didn't workout in the long run. One day I was doing a track workout and on the warm up run there I saw a dead bobcat in the road. Halfway through the workout we hear this strange loud meowing(for lack of better words) and then bobcat kitten comes out of the woods and I to the middle of the track. He watches the rest of the workout. Afterwards I take the bobcat kitten home. Had him for 2 weeks until the gf accidentally let the dog and bobcat kitten out in the yard at the same time, and my dog killed Lil Mondo. That was the last straw for me and her.
Some of us did a bit more than 1 mile every hour for 24 hours at the original 24hr track relay w no problem.
Yr plan seems feasible. Hydrate!
