You’re saying Tesla knows how many non-Teslas are waiting in line to charge?
Superchargers can not be used by non-Teslas. So this is not an issue today.
When Tesla starts to open its network to non-Teslas, it will probably use the same system it uses for Teslas. It will use the same algorithm to manage the traffic such that Supercharger locations rarely become full.
Non-Teslas would likely use a phone-based app instead of one that is built into the car. It will probably be available for Android Auto or Apple Carplay so that it can have a level of integration with the car itself.
But it will be quite some time before this even matters. The roll-out for non-Teslas will be slow and deliberate.
So I won’t just be able to roll up to a charging station and decide to get in line? Seems cumbersome.
And I believe you are incorrect. Non-Teslas are able to use Tesla charging stations today.

Yes, you can roll up to a charging station and start charging. At that point, Tesla's network knows about it.
I am correct. Non-Teslas can not use a Tesla charging station in North America. They have just started rolling out this ability in some parts of Europe.
Do you know why it is possible to have such low reliability scores AND also have high customer satisfaction ratings?
Reliability ratings are dong by objective third-party entities. With customer satisfaction ratings the Tesla owner has bought into the "Teslas are the greatest" mindset and will tell the pollster that he or she loves his Tesla even though he or she may not.
So you think millions of owners are just lying? That doesn't seem likely.
When a product doesn't live up to the hype, there is always a backlash. This has not happened with Tesla. With Tesla, there are still promises to fulfill, but the car is so far ahead of anything else you can buy, customers are delighted with their purchase.

I am correct that non-Teslas can use the charging stations. You didn’t mention North America until now. Tesla does sell vehicles outside of the US. Very narrow-minded thinking by you.
Yet they still publish the incorrect data? Why would they do that?
Do you know why you can have low reliability ratings like Tesla and still have high customer ratings?
The data is correct. But their methodology appears to be flawed.
I haven't looked at the details, but "customer ratings" are generally broad satisfaction metrics while "reliability ratings" are just that. If reliability ratings were the be all end all, you'd see the Corvette clubs tooling around in Toyota Camrys.

So I am correct. As a Tesla owner, Tesla could direct me to a charger where 50 people are waiting to charge and bypass one where there are only 5 are waiting.

Do you really not know why Tesla has both very low reliability ratings AND high customer satisfaction ratings?

The whole discussion was started by a posted article that talked about the roll-out of supercharging for non-Teslas in North America. That's what we've been discussing the whole time.

I already told you. It's because Consumer Reports methodology for predicted reliability is flawed. Tesla's actual reliability as measured by warranty claims is second only to Toyota.

I don't know how the Tesla app works, but some of the third party charging stations (Chargepoint, at least) allow scheduling such that one can reserve a time slot at a particular charger.
No doubt there have been and will be growing pains with rapid EV adoption, but there is a increasingly lucrative market to provide infrastructure and the people competing in this space are not as dumb as you pretend to be.

Correct. In the end, customer satisfaction is what matters most.

Incorrect.
Would you care to try again or are you unwilling to discuss it?

You are not correct. When a station is full, it directs you to a different location. The system will keep you from stopping at a location where all the stalls are full.

Good review by Scotty. Can you imagine paying 120k+ for this thing and the panels don't even align? And the gull wing doors don't even open every time? Bumpy ride, no thanks. Look at how low that thing is to the ground, there's no way this thing can go off road. It's already scraped up on the bottom.
