I will not personally contact anyone about this. I believe the people who should be contacted already have been, including people from the marathon, Loyola HS, USATF, whatever. I would also make a large wager that his employer is already well aware of this growing scandal. Whether the prior "insider" who posted is legitimate or not, I don't know or care. I have to believe that someone has already shared this around the office.

Then, whether his employer does anything about it is up to them.

Whether people want to associate with him professionally or personally is up to them.

I think that trying to stop people from emailing his employer is a waste of keystrokes. They are either going to do it or they won't.

The problem that Frank faces, in my opinion, is that if the L.A. Marathon fails to disqualify him there are certain parties who will look to make him pay in other ways, which would likely include more and more calls for his job, public humiliation, etc. I think the specter of him remaining in those event results for years to come is just too off-putting and antithetical to a desire for a fair or just outcome. If I were Frank I seriously would contact the L.A. Marathon and ASK to be removed from the results. But then, I'm not a lunatic who cheats in marathons, so what do I know?

We’ve actually had a couple of posters revise their statements. I’m impressed.

What's still missing is a concise overview of what races FM has run, the time/result, what evidence is available (5K splits? photos? video?), whether anyone has looked at the evidence, and what the findings are. Is there even a list of FM's races somewhere? The MI posts took a close look at a couple races, but what about the other years of the LAM?

I agree with Smoove. Don't rush to get someone fired like a pack of riled-up SJW's. Especially while there's probably still evidence to look at that might show the full extent of the cheating.

Is it fair to say that after 3203 posts there isn't a single event over the last ten years that Meza has participated in that doesn't have a Frank type anomaly in it? Unlike say the ones Whitlock, Dykes, etc participated in.

I think we are probably closer in agreement than you might think. I don't think his punishment for being a duplicitous cheater for a decade or more in running races should necessarily extend to his professional life of doctoring. However, I do believe when one has shown a propensity to such behavior in one area, it might and likely does extend to other areas of ones life.

No, I have not reached out to his employer or to the medical board. If he comes clean, I never will and can let it go. If he gets excoriated by some major national, or at a minimum a large local source like LA Times, than sure, his employer and members of medical board will likely be aware. But if this starts to die down, go away with not a peep of an admission or regret from Frank or public awareness due to major media coverage, than I might file an official complaint.

I am being entirely serious when I say that a sticky FAQ outlining which cheats, liars, scammers and bullshitters we can talk about and which ones have some kind of legal threats in place against these forums. Then we would all know where we stand.
