If Langford in then who is out in sprints at Oklahoma? Head listed as men's sprint coach and Harrison as women's.

The state has been bankrupted by a series of criminal politicians. All public universities, regardless of their standing, will have cuts to sports and arts. It is the sacrifice we all must accept for the Chicago elites to line their pockets with tax money straight from the governor’s office.

Think about it. You can only use the money administration gives you. Most throws coaches take care of 8-12 athletes at most. Sprints and distance coaches 20-30 depending on place. Why would you go full-time in throws? You hire full-time based on personnel coverage. Plus why would he take the advice of a guy that’s not staying and negative?

That’s maybe 1 gender gotta double that up if your are a developmental team. And you base full time staff on how you want to setup your team. If conference is weak in throws then go full time throws.

If you coach speed events and only have one other full time, then you hire distance to cover the athletes in season all year (XC/in/out). Not same event areas you coach. If the coach leaving coached all 3 event areas (sprint, jump, hurdles), had regional qualifiers & school records broken in almost every event, and you’re a “better coach”, then why can’t you do the same (coach all 3 areas) and then hire an area you don’t know (distance)? Look for them to never win another XC title again. Top female left because she saw the writing on the wall from admin and HC (not taking distance seriously in a WEAK conference since Butler left).

Meaning unknown to the general public but known amongst the top coaches. Those are likely the men or women to scoop up jobs like Arizona State, USF, Texas A&M, Western Kentucky, Boston, UC, Kennesaw - the list goes on.

In case you haven’t notice the sprinting coaching world is infamous for keeping job moves very hush hush. Unlike the distance coaches who come on here to anonymously bash everyone.

I’m guessing Monday those jobs will be announced before usa’s.

Markis Frasier proved that there is always an unknown person with the right background and perfect timing that just makes a good fit for what the program needs. I think there are a few other names that will pop up soon that coaches have been on a lot of coaches radar. I personally have heard mention of like 5 (1 female) that every time I ask about good recruiters or good coaches it’s the same few names

Julie Miller was hired at Northwestern, very good coach. Good hire.

I applied for that job, but feel they have a good coach.

Stanford is finalized. Expect announcement early next week.... it’s not anyone that’s been talked about.

Heard one of Coach smiths lackeys got a throws job either posted or unposted. So possibly Jessica Ramsey or jeneava Stevens or someone else out there with him. Probably GVSU, Rutgers, or south Florida
