I did try to contact them for a blog article I'm thinking of putting out, but no reply, although it wasn't the Principal I tried to contact, I'm figuring he's done the right thing as he was the person the poster that outed Meza contacted, so don't want to hassle him again.

Somehow or other I don't think Meza is exactly flavour of the month there right now, and definitely not with Head Coach Diaz, who left the threatening voicemail for Amby Burfoot, or Bland, who's been implicated here too.

A while ago there was a poster called "kegboy" I think, said he was a LHS old boy and was going to be there in the coming days and was going to approach Diaz about Miza, that time has come and gone now and haven't heard anything from him, I'm guessing he was given short shrift in no uncertain terms lol.

Regardless, I believe the punishment should fit the crime. His cheating appears to be prolific and brazen, claiming a world record time in the marathon. Actually, yes! FM did it to himself. Not just once but multiple times. And, he denied it. That's enough of a reason to make him pay.

Did the guy puff himself up professionally by way of falsely claiming achievements? I certainly think so. Could there have been some pecuniary benefit to him as a result? Possibly, although it is likely indirect and likely pretty modest.

The punishment should fit the crime, and if he is found guilty he should be subject to disciplinary review by the AMA. This action covers any misconduct by a physician, not just medical ones.

The AMA does not discipline doctors. Relatively few doctors are actually members of the ama. Discipline is done by state medical boards and no board is gonna discipline a doctor for cheating at marathons.

Jaywalking and disobeying a traffic sign is a far stretch from cheating in a marathon for a national/world record! There are certain things that society allows, lines that have been grayed and are allowed to be crossed without repercussion.

However, Frank has been dishonestly stealing AG glory from fellow competitors, self promoting through his stolen running accomplishments, and blatantly violating rules of competition to do these things. It would appear this behavior goes back at least a decade but possibly further.

Would I care much if gramps John Doe cut a course and finished in 5 hours instead of 6 hours? Not much, but feel he should be at least DQ'd. However, Frank has established a pattern of egregious duplicitous behavior. If you are a sneaky, duplicitous, cheating, lying doctor in your running and you've tied your running life closely to your professional life, than the behavior in one might bleed into the other. Do you think he can turn off his doctor morals on marathon day, but turn them back on at work?

And you can accidently unintentionally jay walk or disobey a traffic sign, Meza hasn't accidently unintentionally cheated multiple marathons, tri's, 10/5k's, etc.
