We have seen in his videos that Frank mentions his 'World Record' running which he uses to give himself credibility and sell his organization which ultimately further his financial gains. This in my opinion is fraud. If people are having a hard time with his professional credibility being thrown into the mix, Frank did this to himself by using his runs in his professional work videos. Its fair game.
Frank Meza cheating at half-marathons and a 10k...posting times that do not match his projections based on his marathon times, is a mystery. Why bother risking getting caught for great but not record times. Get caught once, and you’re assumed to be a cheat every time. (well, not in Frank Meza’s case). Are there races unknown, where Frank was DQ’d. How could we find that out? There should be a watch list for known or suspected cheats.
has anyone reached back out to Loyola since his bio page there has been taken down, and articles scrubbed? Would be curious to see if they'd make a statement now. I actually wouldn't be surprised if he's fessed up to his inner circle already and doesn't feel the need to to anyone else

Watch list for cheaters? Given the number of post Olympics DQs for doping we can call it the podium.

This one seems nuts and particularly like an amateur though.
It's a really interesting story, but marathon running at his level is simply a hobby. His running legacy is tarnished/destroyed and he can't run another LAM without a monitor. How embarrassing. Seriously, he will be assigned a monitor if he signs up to run another LAM.
Like I said, there are lots of bright people on these boards, and good arguments can be made for a variety of positions.
Did the guy puff himself up professionally by way of falsely claiming achievements? I certainly think so. Could there have been some pecuniary benefit to him as a result? Possibly, although it is likely indirect and likely pretty modest.
But defending reaching out to someone's employer because they claimed that their false running accomplishments in an effort to puff themselves up all feels more like rationalizing vengeance (for his hubris, for him undercutting Gene Dykes' and Ed Whitlock's accomplishments, for him not giving us the satisfaction of admitting that we got him, etc.) than justice.
Sure, this doesn't happen without his repeated transgressions, but I just think that the punishment should tie into the crime.

My buddy who I mentioned before who has a race consulting business where he certifies results by looking for potential cheaters and consults with them on course issues keeps a list too. Its part of his algorithm he uses to catch these people for races. He says he may not catch them the first time, but once in his “enemies list” it’s only a matter of time. Btw, he just signed another major client.
