I don’t think it’s that serious. Emmit said he enjoyed his interaction with mike but has had bad rumors and poison said from his experience he thinks mike is an ass. Everyone thinks of people differently .

the UNCW hire won’t be an internal hire. They are looking for Head coach and an assistant, jumps and a distance. they had a great recruiting class for this year but this will be the third new head coach and asst pairing in the last 18 months. Overall its not a great funded program but I know for a fact it’s got a tight knit group there that is hungry to win the CAA. Wouldnt be a bad move for a couple young people that can bring the energy there to spruce that program up
So...Jackson didn’t coach at Rowan. He coached at Ramapo. So he obviously did not coach you. Rowan women have been coached by Ringo forever.
That is a terrible move for almost anyone. They tried desperately to cut the program and haven't been able to make it stick.

nctrack is someone trying to save face. This program was going in the right direction with the last head coach who was a great guy, but with his departure I believe many of these freshman will transfer. This is a dumpster fire that no one can put out!

How was the recruiting bad? Did you check out the freshman class? Talking on the men's side. Bad performances? The guys haven't competed yet. If you're talking ladies, may have something there. Kinda rough with just 1 scholly.
I was at a D2 school and most of our roster was just as good or better than them. However, their freshman class is very good compared to the rest of the team, especially the men like was mentioned. Certainly could tell a new regime was there the prior year.

Blake is a good enough guy and good enough coach. But he has two things wrong with him. He is white. And he is male. Have you seen the ethnic & gender make up of Drake’s athletic department?! I have heard that AD is on the way out anyways. problems elsewhere in the department plus the President or chancellor or whatever of the university would not let him cut track because of the community rallying for them so I don’t think the program getting cut is the biggest problem. The bad funding and lack of scholarships is the big problem.
