8:46 out of the slow heat and they hit the first k in a crisp 3:00 so it had to happen at some point. He did look great before he hit the deck, there was a fat gap. Atleast he made it interesting, real shame he went down.

Actually, he looked like the only one to even want to challenge Bugler. Unfortunate that it didn't pan out. After the hit bugler looked just as confused. With our splits he shut down and cruised it easy in... kind of a dud of a race...
So group consensus Joe and donson are fast? That thousand was sick. And the battle in the mile and dmr. The MIAC should be nicely represented at nats. Also klamm should do very well in the 400. anyone else besides Bjork and eggers in the mile have a fair shot at making nationals?

Also I hope Spielberg was there and got that 1000 because I didn't get to see it.

Olaf distance boys, Augsburg sprinters, Hamlin and St. Thomas throwers, St. Thomas polevaulter and heptathlete, Bethel 200m and 400m boys and I think that is about it.
The MIAC is deep this year at nationals. Not a lot of conferences out there like that.
No other distance guys will make it. Bugler might squeek in the mile, but he said after his race that him and his coach have no plans on running at nationals. I kind of agree with this. He's run fast, but in a kickers race at nationals, it would be a rough go for him.
Jovan will try the 5k once more this weekend, hopefully he can bounce back with a good time
