And the Indian athlete was tested by his federation not the NCAA
10/15/2025 - This thread started well before anything was confirmed by Iowa State.
A volunteer moderator deleted several threads on this topic. That's not the way this should work. We believe in free expression and have reinstated them and merged them into this one thread.
As we wrote at the time, "If there is no truth to these rumors, please contact us at letsrun@letsrun.com or give us a call at 844-538-7786 and we will be happy to delete them and issue a statement."
It ends up appearing that the rumors had some teeth to them. Earlier today LetsRun.com co-founder Robert Johnson emailed head coach Jeremy Sudbury to let him know about this thread and asked if there was any truth to it.
At 3:31 pm ET, coach Sudbury emailed me the following:
Hello Robert,
Thank you for reaching out directly.
There were team rule violations. I have worked with our administration, and the involved athletes have been suspended and will not compete the remainder of this season.
Have a nice rest of your weekend.
Jeremy
Subsequently the Stride Report has written an article on the matter:
BREAKING: Multiple Iowa State Athletes Suspended for Season for "Breaking Team Rules," Confirmed via Head Coach Jeremy Sudbury
Previous thread titles included, "ALLEGED Doping Bust at NCAA Program. What Now?" and "Iowa State EPO"
And the Indian athlete was tested by his federation not the NCAA
Makes sense to get them involved if its American athletes

As someone who ran for the program I can tell you for sure that they could give a crap about what people are writing online.
Some things that the coaches do that would influence someone to take things and fall into the win at all cost and any measure philosophy is this.
Coaches going into SA houses to check for junk food.
Weighing athletes and giving them specific targets to hit
Paying for altitude tents for athletes to have at home and encouraging as much time in there as you can get.
Playing mind games and making athletes do things only to test their commitment (4am practice)
Punishing the entire team for the mistakes of one athlete. (Someone forgot their workout flats and practice was canceled)
Telling athletes you better get the F-ing job done or I’ll fine someone who can.
Nothing listed is specifically illegal to do but for student athletes it creates a do or die situation where maybe your best isn’t good enough. And if your best isn’t good enough and failure isn’t an option what else is there to do?
It's almost like Sudbury ran for Martin Smith.
Is this going to be swept under the rug?
Rolled? Orr ran 8:39 and qualified for nationals.

If there's no further clarity by the end of next week, yes.
Good enough for Lance, good enough for the corn farmers...
Or, sixxxx-sevvveeeennnnnnnnn.

So many of these US based athletes have to leave the country or get tested by an international agency in order to test positive
By swept under the rug, you mean "no foreign born runners were caught". Which is what you want.
In that case, yes. Those guys didn't do what you wanted them to do.
The Americans did.... and they are still good guys in spite of the bad judgment
For ISU's sake, this would be the best thing. If you are clean, embrace this
Wow. Sudbury earned $270K last year.

Incels for mediocrity unite!
You are really anti-African, aren't you? Interesting
Stop making up names. Bonny is the OG whistleblower who blew this whole operation up when he learned what was going on. Seth, Hannibal, Rivera, Joash Ruto (their #1) and Simpson are the five guys. Dylan Schubert was the one who told one of them where to get it online, and seems like the mastermind behind distributing this stuff to NCAA athletes. I would be shocked if Sudz isn't fired.
This post was removed.
This aligns
Wow If this is true it will be alot more getting fired. Jeremy , Martin , Cale Wallace they will clean house.
I wasn’t making up names, I was going off the information provided by the last dude, especially with “White Americans”.
Adding Schubert into the mix puts this down an even deeper rabbit hole. What did this entail for his success? What did this entail for his team’s previous success? Who has he provided this information to? There are so many more unanswered questions.
In all seriousness, if this is true, thanks for providing such valuable info. This rabbithole does need to be uncovered, no matter how long and tedious it may take to do so
I'm also trying to figure out if Sudz was in on this. From what I can collect, Sudz was aware but wanted it to stay under wraps, until Bonny blew it up and told people outside the team and then all hell broke loose. They're conducting an internal investigation at ISU but if the NCAA gets involved, I feel like Pollard has to fire Sudz. Anything accomplished going forward under Sudz has an asterick next to it, so they need to just clear house and move on from this mess.
this would be the tip of the iceberg. ncaa joins the kenya club.
ncaa is rotten to the core and beyond.
kenya gov and ncaa, same same bs.
