Distance results reflective of the USA's overall status in the world in general ...

I'm not buying that these triple jump coaches have any idea what their doing. They just shout at the athletes like they are naughty children.

It's like the athletes are spoiling their big moment. Perhaps coaches were failed athletes and this is their final chance for glory. Too many people seem to think insulting people is how you motivate them.

Brazier out sucks, because I can tell he is fit. Got trapped early in his race and couldn't get out.

lol what an absolutely disastrous WCs for distance running Americans thus far. I thought we had a great shot at MULTIPLE medals in the distance events between Nuguse (then Koech & Strand), Hocker, Fisher, Young, Hiltz, Brazier, Hoppel, and others and now our hopes lie with....Fisher doubling back? Burrito Houlihan?

Wanyonyi impacted Anderson’s race by cutting him off down the backstretch more than Hocker impacted Farken’s the other day. By the standard set the other day, maybe Brazier’s chances aren’t dead yet.

So did Hoppel and Brazier think that “rail running” would work for them? Very risky strategy (see Hocker)! Very disappointing!
