She is having a great end of the season. However, she has achieved it she is currently the best American 800-1500 runner. Its too bad that she has not achieved the popularity usually associated with such performance, but it is was it is.
I know who is suspicious - and so do many others. That's why there are so many doping threads here. I also know that up to 1 in 2 championship athletes admitted to doping in confidential surveys.
Yeah, its usually considered to be about 50%, give or take a bit. You've gotta go hard or go home in many sports, these days. They're gonna have serious health issues, when they get older, that is,if they live that long.
Part of the toxicity is this particular scandal/subject is that other athletes always get dragged in. Always deflecting. Anyway the bane of the sport is that a) PEDs are super effective, b) dopers are very hard to catch, and c) anti-doping efforts are simply insufficient. You can mitigate but not eliminate the problem. Even if all the circumstantial evidence screams "doping" to the point of being laughably obvious, if you are reasonably careful and simply do not care about the integrity of the sport, you can beat the system. Right now it looks like a Katir-like escapade, but it is just under the radar enough that it likely won't be the same result. Does not mean we have to be oblivious.
Such a lack of logic in this post. Take Hassan, who has competed continuously for more than a decade. She has been tested more OOC than probably any athlete in the U.S. . Yet, you think she's even more suspicious, because of her results. That's like saying Tiger Woods must cheat because he set records and won more than anyone else. In reality, the real cheaters are probably the less talented athletes who are trying to get to the next level.
Lol. Here is the thing. Most of us do not want to discuss this distasteful subject. But we are forced to because there has been an obvious pr campaign for this athlete that involves trying to ram her down our throats, bringing her up over and over, combined with an even more obvious strategy of trying to manipulate this board. Even with autodelete disabled, the upvote/downvote manipulation is hilarious. And this started the moment the scandal broke. Even the site owner had enough. These type of antics have happened for no other athlete, and comes off, as does the whole scandal, as cult-like. People do not do this unless they are trying to hide the truth.
Anyway, we cannot miss you if you do not go away. Instead we are in the triple down, damn the torpedos stage again.
Hi rojo!
It was obvious before, and even more now that you and "astro" keep posting almost identital messages. You both brought up about fake accounts before anyone else, an autodelete conspiracy before anyone else, vote manipulation before anyone else, and a vpn conspiracy before anyone else.
I noticed the vote manipulation long ago and the only ones with the ability to do that are the founders. One of them ( you) obviously does not like the votes so he changes them, and that's why he got rid of the autodelete, plus openly admitting in various threads when he "reinstates" abusive messages, that he says "should not have been reported."
He even banned me for a few days for "reporting abusive posts."
Ah the old "only the less talented athletes dope" mixed with the baseless notion that not testing positive=clean, which we all know is nonsense. The testing is not effective enough and certain nations go beyond mere neglect in looking the other way. The idea that you think Hassn is more like clean than dirty is silly.
Anyway, look at the all-time 800 times and tell us what you see. It is probably the dirtest record in the sport and the top ten is a freak show.
Btw, Tiger Woods did not win more than anyone else.
All the stuff surrounding her coach and her decision to stay with them is super suspicious to me, but it's been almost 2 years and Wiley is passing all the tests that her competitors are. She made World Indoors in March and now she's running super fast times in August, certainly getting tested in between. Not saying she's clean, but I don't think she's much more likely to be doping than anyone else running her times.
It's fun to read "breakthrough" threads about American runners now when it always used to be Kenyans and Ethiopians. The US is catching up.
It’s simple to manipulate the vote system on here. I used a proxy service and wrote a bash script that lets me assign however many upvotes or downvotes to whatever post. Child’s play. I’m thinking of dusting off my script and using it to combat the obvious Huntington losers who have obviously been doing the same to promote Addy Wiley.
That's like saying Tiger Woods must cheat because he set records and won more than anyone else. In reality, the real cheaters are probably the less talented athletes who are trying to get to the next level.
Haha. You are using Tiger as an example of a clean person.

That isn't the reality. The reality is that those who want to win or do as well as they can will dope. That includes the best.
Did Marion Jones ever fail a test, for example. Nope. And that went back to high school. Passing a doping test, especially when there is scant ooc testing, is meaningless. In sports where the lid came off athletes doped for over a decade and never got caught once. Everyone knows. But it is hard to catch.
So then if it is so difficult to fail a drug test, then why would we rely on you and Armstronglivs as our drug tests? Are you 2 like dogs who can sniff this sort of thing in a way the rest of us humans cannot?
Speaking for myself, I don't regard myself as a "test" for drugs; the incidence of doping at elite and championship is high so I take it as a given that the most successful are probably doping. The examples offered in threads largely confirm it for me because I find plenty not to believe about their performances. And so do others. But there will be other dopers flying under the radar.
So women's records always have to be compared to men's records - "to put them into perspective"?
Calm down.
I’m trying to get the Addy Wiley fans worked up here. With the PED allegations floating around, I think it is interesting to see how folks defend her.
If you know the sport OR know how to Google anything, you’ll see that her time is 12th all-time. Less than a second behind Muir and Semenya, who ran very fast times in other, more standard events. Great athletes.
So, comparing her to other women, it is an impressive time.
but high school boys are running faster than this for mile pace is a fact. No need to be offended by that, it’s reality.
It is irrelevant. Men's and women's sports are separate. Or it's like boxing - you don't compare lightweights with heavyweights - or put them in the ring together. Wiley's performance should only be compared with those of other women. She's just broken a record - by a known doped athlete.
