Typical mob rule to denounce and label the opposition. It worked well for Hitler and Stalin.
As a conservative, I'm glad we're getting another conservative on the court. But this whole thread is pretty disgusting on both sides. I understand that people are passionate about this issue, but have some decency.
90% of the posts on this thread are garbage that I can't imagine a decent human being saying to the face of another human being. If anything, this nomination process has shown how much we are struggling in this country with respectful discourse.
From what I can gather, these accusations are not well founded. Witch hunts are a dangerous thing. It doesn't mean we should ignore allegations of this sort. But these were investigated, and throwing out political bias, I think they were unsupported by additional witnesses and evidence. And that's just my opinion, and I agree to disagree with people.
Both sides should probably step back and ask themselves some questions. If it were a liberal judge nominated, would you feel as passionately about the accusations as you do? My guess is, if it were a liberal judge, the tables would be flipped. That says a lot more about us than it does about the candidate.
And for that reason, you probably all should be a little more civil to each other. The people on this thread may be neighbors, or family, or coworkers, or friends. I wouldn't talk to any of my neighbors, friends, coworkers, or friends the way many people on this thread talk. Have a little respect. It reflects poorly on you when you don't.
That is actually why the system is so broken on both sides. Centrist never get past the primaries as the hardcore left and right select candidates they want. The rest of the country then can’t make a moderate choice and we are left with the far right and left in office. No wonder it is broken and nothing gets done.

What we now know for sure is that Hatch and others working for the Judiciary Committee have, without question, tried to slime one of Kavanaugh’s accusers in a way that is widely, and accurately, described as “slut-shaming."
Hatch and his allies who should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Haha, seems the Dems, SJW's, feminists, lefties, etc, etc can give it but can't take it.

Ah, in this thread subject there was zero facts to support any allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. The hysteria of paid mobs denouncing senators and the media whipping a frenzy of falsehoods. Typical of the tactics of Hitler and Stalin.

Typical of the mensheviks. And that's who Feinstein, Schumer, etc. are descended from.

I'm not proud of what the Republicans did there. As a conservative, I can recognize that was purely politically motivated. I'm actually not proud of a lot of what the Republicans do in Washington. But both parties play dirty. What's the saying? Elections have consequences.
I expect both sides in Washington to play dirty and find every loophole they can to win. I truly believe the Dems would have done the same thing if they were in the same position. We only have to look at about 5 minutes of footage from each side to see they are full of hypocrisy and only care about one thing. Power.
But that doesn't mean we can't be more civil on this message board. And like I said, that goes for both sides. I'm equally appalled at most of the comments from conservatives on this thread, as I am liberals. This is one of the few places where we have power and control. And we use it like monkeys.
At my work, people disagree. But we treat each other with respect and have a conversation. This place is like Thunderdome. I had more respectful discourse with my fellow students in high school social studies.
In all this muddled back and forth, has anyone mention Sen. Murkowski will be voting “present” tomorrow? That is one less no vote, and allows Senator Daines to travel to Montana with no need to return to DC for the confirmation vote.

Sedition charges against Soros and politicians that were involved with paid mobs and promoting false allegations in an effort to subvert democracy.
