Arthur Miller, The Crucible: “A "crucible" is a severe test or trial, which is exactly what happens in the play. Miller intended "The Crucible" as an allegory to McCarthyism. The events that took place during the time the play was written were very similar to the Salem witch hunts. ... Miller himself was accused of being a communist sympathizer.”
... that women cannot serve on Senate Judiciary Committee because it’s ‘a lot of work’ < LOL at Dotard Grassley exposing his old-white-male-sexist self.
“It’s a lot of work,” Grassley told NBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “I mean don’t forget compared to a lot of committee meetings, we have an executive (session) for every Thursday … so it’s a lot of work.”

Looks like NBC is trying again to recycle this story that was debunked 4 days ago. Can you clearly state for anyone here exactly what evidence that story bring out? What exact text messages are these people talking about? NBC alludes to a bunch of text messages, but never shows them. The only text messages shown are a few that are vague and hard to decipher what they even mean, and what context they are talking about.
The piece also says that someone sent a photo of Kavanuagh and Ramirez to the Washington Post in July. Could this be evidence that WaPo was working on the Ramirez story that early? I don't see why we should assume this is evidence that Kavanuagh knew Ramirez was going to tell WaPo a story 2 months later.
In the week before the New Yorker story, Ramirez was calling class mates asking them if they remember an incident (this very fact is stated in the New Yorker story). Kavanagh's circle of acquaintances/friends heard about these Ramirez phone calls and tell Kavanuagh she is possibly trying to come up with evidence for some story she is going to tell to the press. This is all alluded to in the documented phone interview that Kavanuagh had with the senate judiciary committee. Then the story comes out in WaPo, and Kavanuagh learns for the first time exactly what allegations Ramirez was making. This also is perfectly consistent with his testimony to the Senate.
The whole article is just a bunch of inconclusive innuendo and half facts. The article contains no clear evidence of any lie or contradiction by Kavanagh or his allies. The article does contain quotes from the Senate judiciary spokesman that directly contradict what the "witnesses" talking to NBC say happened.
And remember, last week NBC thought it was a good idea to print a story based on a completely anonymous postcard that someone sent to them that says Kavanuagh too forcibly kissed his then girlfriend. Within 2 days, the girlfriend said the story was completely fake.
The bottom line is that if you think NBC has any credibility left, you are completely uninformed and clueless. If they present a story with actual facts in the story to prove whatever narrative they are trying to tell, then pay attention. This story is not that. This story is just more piles of steaming crap like we've seen all the corporate media shell out over the last 3 weeks.
Democrats are fairies

More unsubstantiated and uncorroborated BS, I couldn't make head nor tail of the whole thing, the scramble and mixed up article came across like teens going backwards and forwards with each other on social media, although I did understand this bit:
"Both women stressed that they don't know the whole story..."
Seems NBC didn't either, or they did and choose to ignore it.
Rule of law versus mob Robespierre rule.

You're just another jerk who loves to see women beat up and abused.
What a sad life that you live.
Sucks to be a member of the GOP.
What we now know for sure is that Hatch and others working for the Judiciary Committee have, without question, tried to slime one of Kavanaugh’s accusers in a way that is widely, and accurately, described as “slut-shaming."
Hatch and his allies who should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

The Democratic party needs to some serious soul searching if they want to continue on the path of predominantly catering to far left-wing Anti-American nutjobs. Chuck Schumer is an embarrassment to any decent fair-minded American for his part in orchestrating the smear campaign against Brett Kavanaugh. A shameful episode in American politics!!!
