If one missing senator, 99 senators. No possible tie. Vote is 50-49. All senators are not required to vote, only simple majority of those present. Senator said he would fly back if needed anyway. He won’t be missing. Manchin could flip to no and confirmation will still take place via Pence.

Not correct. A majority of a quorum. A quorum being at least one half the membership (per the Constitution) -- 51 senators at a minimum must vote.

The previous requirement to approve SCOTUS judges was a minimum of 50 yes votes (VP could bump it to 51). But McConnell took the nuclear option so now as few as 51 Senators can vote on a SCOTUS judge.
