This is not a rumor, this hire is real. I'm sure a release will be out soon...probably a million other things they're more concerned about right now. Understandable when a coach shows up 1/3 of the way into the season.

Richardson not taking the ARMY job. West Point was a great place, but their support of XC/TF isn't there and won't get the coach they need!

Who will Army hire now? Pretty sad for both Penn State and Army to be still looking for a Director in the middle of September.

Word on the street is Ken Harnden gonna get the Penn State job, don't know how reliable the source is. Also psu throws coach to Iowa

I'm surprised Ebel would leave Penn State for Iowa, but perhaps things are a little uncertain at penn state so he is making sure he has a job. The big10 throwing coach carousel continues.

Ebel is still listed on the PSU site and nothing has been posted on the Iowa site. Either you have some serious inside info or this is just B.S.

From Georgia Southern head to assistant at Georgia State. What?

University of New Orleans will soon be announcing their new head coach......Ben Dalton. He has been the assistant during the past 2 head coaches and has done a great job recruiting there. He will do a solid job there. Ben deserves the position after the headaches he has endured, and the responsibilities thrust upon him with head coaches leaving. Good Luck Privateers.

Her last name at Georgia Southern was Mincey and now it is Vinson. One would imagine (if they have a brain that's properly functional)...that this was a family decision and thus the proper one for her and her family...case close...let her coach in peace

Well, you seem to be the expert on this situation so I can only add my 2 cents from my cheap seat. I would say that a coach trying to leave, after two head coaches had left and job uncertainy would justify trying to get hired somewhere else. True, seems like some decent kids have left - as you would expect with head coaches leaving and program uncertainty - but not all of them. As far as the APR, I dont' know what it is but I would assume it is low being how young the program is, the coaching turnover, etc., but it is certainly fixable and UNO is a place that can have a decent program with stability. AS for comment about "negative recruiting tactics", I don't have first hand knowledge about that but it seems that comments like that always come up when smaller schools recruit well.

Article says they finished second in the conference last year, then where and why did the last two assistants leave?Seems like they had it together for another good year unless the entire team were seniors.

At Pacific University a D3 school in Oregon evidently they fired the whole staff after the men finished second in the conference. Sometimes administrators are doing whatever they want. Just glad I work at a school that leaves me the hell alone.
