Incorrect assessment, the rate hike trajectory was in place prior to Trump’s election. If anything the Republican tax cuts in the face of a mature economy forces the Fed’s hand.

when I look carefully at that graph, I see the market peaks could not generally have been distinguished from the inverted CAPE chart. Looking at the most recent market "peak," we should have expected average annual returns of 2.5% over the past 12 years, nothing close to 9% like we see. I suppose you might suggest QE is the sole (or main) force behind that profound difference. Still, the 2000 peak was not well-predicted (should have occurred about 6-7 years earlier if we trust the blue inverted CAPE), and the 2007 peak isn't signalled at all (unless we overuse our imaginations in relation to the noisy blip on the descending trend of the inverted CAPE).

I really don't think I would use this graph to try to defend any meaningful interpretations, were I you.

Igy don’t be a dickhead. I’ve never been one of your tormentors on here and I made a perfectly legitimate observation. You well know the CAPE is a trailing indicator (that’s precisely how it is developed, based on looking back in time) and any forward looking value it has is relatively weak.

I can be one of your tormentors if you like, I’ve never felt compelled to before mind you, it’s not really in my nature to be a dick without provocation.

I'll go ahead and propose no such evidence exists. Everyone knows what higher interest rates means : less disposable income for consumers and higher cost of borrowing money. Earnings for companies decreases/slows and profits weaken. Rising interest rates is good for the existential health of the economy but there is no way in hell rising rates has ever helped stock prices unless your portfolio consists of shorts and puts.
