OK. I understand. Thanks for clarifying.
I suggest that the list be all inclusive, otherwise it looks like only cheaters are amateurs.

The 1960 (it was not 1970) expedition was widely called into question, and they weren't sponsored by a GPS company in the age of high technology.

If Kelly was quietly DQed from Vermont 2012, Why has he been listed as an official finisher on their site since 2012? Can't find the DQ. http://www.barttiming.com/summer/results12/VT100-12-1.pdfhttp://barttiming.com/summer/results12/vt100-Splits12.pdf

He's not listed as a finisher in the link you posted. If you look at the placings, he's not there under his time of 23:52, but if you keep scrolling, he's listed he's listed as "dn1", which I guess is what they call the non-finishers and DQs.

Try to think here. The threads about people getting busted for skullduggery are the most popular running-related topics on the whole board (not even including the Rossi one, which is on its own planet in both tawdriness and popularity). They blow up immediately even when few people have even heard of the perp, which is almost always the case since even the illegitimate times are fairly pedestrian, like Kip Litton's).
Why aren't these same idiots complaining about WADA and USADA? Don't those losers have better things to do than expose cheaters? They must just be in it for the money! What douchebags!
I wouldn't give a rat's ass if Derek -- and I don't know him at all -- lived in his mom's garage and did nothing but surf the Internet all day looking for runners to bust, living on PayPal handouts and SSDI income. To malign his efforts for any reason is inane. If he were making mistakes left and right or obviously looking to target people who hadn't done anything, then obviously he'd be in dickhead territory. But chances are pretty good that even if he were that kind of guy, he'd take pains to avoid doing things that would get him sued or would have been sued already.
Seriously, it's one thing to complain about cops overreaching their authority or abusive teachers or whatever. But this? Have some perspective. And if Kelly Agnew is behind any of the sniping, shame on him too...and what did he actually doo in his life before he started running? Anyone even know? Or was he like Jesus and just kind of showed up in his 30s after going off the grid at age 12?
Hi Derek!
No. And I'm quite sure you know this. Our writing styles are nothing alike. If you are Kelly, I hope you choke on a dick and die, and I'm guessing that won't take long. If you're merely sticking up for him, please pass along my words. And I say this mostly because of the deer picture thing, not the race cheating thing. I have little sympathy for disorganized or careless RDs in a discipline so haphazard that a pudgy guy can not only get comped entries and sponsors, but cheat almost every time out.
Also: Does anyone else find it funny that the people who run this dump can manage to implement a plug-in that keeps the name "Chandra Berzerko" (the real version) from appearing, yet can't keep the site from being continually spammed and overrun by off-topic trolls? Too bad they can't be sued for operating a sh*thole website too, because apparently, it's not technical shortcomings that keep them from improving these things, but a lack of incentive.
As far as other cheats: I don't see anyone mentioning Cristina Noble yet.

16! Thanks Rob! I'm not a huge fan of yours but kudos for having some balls. Maybe I will run your races now.

Been afraid to post it; the mods fear Winnebago man. Usually gets a thread deleted. He must have threatened a lawsuit.
Don't forget Greg Pafford, the dentist that cut Rock n Roll AZ all those years.
They all have the same dead eyes

This make me giddy. NY Post, Sports Illustrated, and Runner's World all clowning on Kraphouse Kelly. It's too bad his sociopathic brain is incapable of registering any shame. And I'm loving all the reviews of his coaching business from famous marathon cheats both living and dead. Who knew Zombie Fred Lorz was still in the game after over a century?

I understand now, indeed. Using the Wayback Machine I can see he was on the official finisher list in August 2012, but by September 2012, he was moved to the DNF list.
In one of Kelly's race reports he wrote: "I ran the Vermont 100 back in 2012, where I finished, grabbed my buckle, and promptly proclaimed that I would never run THAT stupid race again. EVER."
Well, he returned and ran the race 13 years later when probably the race staff were all different.
May that only three years later.

Either of you willing to bet money on that? How much? Because I'm willing to uncloak myself if you are (I'm sure we're all nobodies here).
I'll start: $1 billion from each of you if I can prove that I'm not Derek Murphy, and the same amount to each of you if I cannot. Or even $1,000,000. OK, ten grand, since I'm not interesting in ruining your lives, only in humiliating you to the point at which you cannot escape thinking about the cold comfort of eternal darkness and begin fantasizing about cyanide capsules.
Murphy is Shakespearean by the standards of Letsrun, but he makes a lot of errors that would get him dinged in any formal writing class. My days of working toward a master's in English lit are long over, but I take more pride in my work, even here, than Derek does.

Had to change the name a bit, otherwise you can't post to LRC. One "L" added.
According to Google she ended up in jail?
The infuriating thing about Shamdra BozeIIIko is not just that she got away with her malfeasance, but that she's profiting hugely from it. And I'm not referring only to her serial road race cheating, but to the identity theft, forgery, larceny, and illegal credit card use that landed her in jail for over six years. (In her version of things, she herself was a victim of identity theft, and someone else actually committed all those crimes she was convicted of.)
If you look her name up now online without knowing anything about her background you'd think she was a celebrated author, blogger, journalist, and human rights advocate. She's got a book out, and has been published in the New York Times magazine, among numerous other publications and sites. You'd think all the people giving her a voice would do a tiny bit of background checking first, but no.
Crime really does pay.
