This is from a business on 6th ave in Emporia. That is the same road he supposedly ran down. In the video at timestamp 23:36:09, or video length 47 sec, the RV comes into view. Still no sign of a runner, although the RV is driving considerably slower than the other cars on the road (still with no hazard lights on). If Rob wants to tell us how far ahead/behind the RV he was, I will get get back with the business owner to get a video that includes that time frame.

Is this over yet, or do I have to keep going?

Good God coach Kev, if you are so busy why did you waste time with that post.

Batteries have nothing to do with the watch. I have a Garmin 235 and charge it once a week. When I do charge it it takes less than an hour for a full charge. There is no strap for the heart rate monitor it is on the watch. So cut the crap.

It works in the middle of big cities with huge buildings on a cloudy day. Are you really trying to tell me it would have reception problems in the middle of nowhere?

WiFi is not an issue, when you have it you can post everything.

I leave the rest to others to rebut, but one last question.

What does his getting abused as a child have to do with this run?

Apart from this quote in my blog in that article

I am not with Rob and I am speculating about the watches and i'm just giving my perspective on the what i would consider obvious difficulties.

I remember reading about the Bunion derbies and all the other PED races and there was no GPS, no trackers or anything. I think even the current record has no recorded devices as far as I know. This is not me trying to get out of anything here as I believe the entire run IS being recorded on GPS but as I said I am awaiting clarification from Rob and here is what i have asked in case you are wondering....

What GPS devices are recording you running?

Have you got lots of video evidence and can you post more of it to social media as there are doubters.

Which cycling team did you ride for.

Where were you when the original poster drove past the RV and filmed you.

I hope to be able to report back soon but for now i'm back off to cyberspace otherwise known as cooking dinner for my wife.

I'm sure if you have other questions Rob will gladly answer them when you run with him in his attempt to beat this remarkable record

So Team Rob is telling us they can't afford 2 GPS watches to alternate between days if their claim of 12-hour battery limit is taken at a face value? New Garmin 235 has wrist HRM and I believe very good battery life. Excuses and excuses.

Wow now this video right here is what is going to put the nail in the coffin. Time stamped, clearly shows no runner, and at the end of the clip you can see the american flag flying off the back, proving it is their RV.

There's no one running beside the RV because Rob himself is the only driver of the RV.

Heavyd84 - Plus, all you would really need is 2 separate GPS watches, at minimum. 1) To wear and track 2) One on the charger plugged into the RV. Have a third one for back up if needed.

Seriously - this guy is daning it for sure. daning is sleeping in the back of the RV while your crew drives you from point to point. Also, it includes verbal abuse, idea threats of lawsuits, drinking craptastic water, and claims that your mobile/cell phone does not have coverage in major metropolitan regions.

I'm trying to find him listed for a pro cycling team. His pictures on his Wikipedia page are from Milram Cycling Team - a German Pro team, now defunct. There is no mention of a Robert Young in any results or on any of their pages.

My half marathon is 1.47 and the other one was when i paced an athlete of mine. i don't do many half or full marathons these days but I can provide more recents results if you like but this really sin't about me so please let's get back to the real issue of Rob and his genuine attempt to beat a record that so many of you hold so dearly.

If I could give up my time to run with him and support him I want genuine reasons why many of you cannot.

I hope he says he was on the opposite side of the rv, running in the left lane and dodging that car that passed them.

also, seems like the the rv is moving a bit fast.

Basically, we have some goofs driving cross country slowly in an RV.
