Agreed. Textbook Messi going to his left and curling one in from just outside the box.

Both Germany and Ghana creating chances. Good game so far.
OH MY
Big Germany fan, but wow o wow. What are they doing? I remember one time in hs we were the better team so we toyed with other team. We dominated position but ended up losing because we made stupid mistakes
Did. You all see muller face at the end? That's a "soft" touch header. Makes you think on those "flops" that players make. Imagine best nfl kicker kicking you in leg. Man is muller f'd up!
Germany 2-2 Ghana. This WC is the most unpredictable WC I have ever seen. This group could go anyway.
The Bosnians wuz robbed.
Predictions for todays games? Big game for the us tonight against Portugal.

2-1 US. Positive thinking.
I filled out a bracket today. I have Germany winning it all, in the finals against Argentina, although I agree with the poster who said they're underperforming.
I'm finding Russia - Belgium enthralling. Who will crack first?
Putin's boys cracked. 1 to 0 Belgica final!

Putin has just commented on Russia's great win at The World Cup today and calls suggestions that they lost as "anti-Russian propaganda".

Football will develop further in the countries that aren't part of the traditional powers (more of the players will play in competitive leagues) and it will be more like any team can be dangerous on a good day.
Twitter has it that Putin denied any presence of Russians in Brazil. He also referred to Belgium as "NATO", for what this is going to be worse...
2-2 final for US and Portugal. Portugal gets the equalizer in the 95th minute. Very entertaining game. US definitely could/should have won, but I would have taken a tie if given the chance ahead of time.
Wide open for the 3rd match in Group G. Should the US and Germany conspire to finish in a tie so both proceed?
USA CHOKE!

If it was any other sport probably not.
That was a heartbreaker. Somebody find Bradley a different team.
2-0 to Holland. Robben is the stand out player so far. Could possibly be Brazil v Chile in the last 16.
Still reeling from the game last night. We played really well in my opinion, but our mistakes were BIG mistakes.
Bradley is killing us. It's infuriating. Both bad decisions and bad execution.
Cameron...look accidents happens and I'll give you a pass on the first goal, as bad as that was. But you follow that up with getting beat to the far post in the last minute of the freaking game?!? When you combine those two, his performance was absolutely inexcusable.
To that end, I really hope Besler is okay. He's been rock solid in defense but has gone down/off in both games now. We need him healthy.
I'm not usually a Jermaine Jones, but oh my goodness what a goal that was. If I wasn't so gutted after the game I would've rewound and watched it all night.
I'm pretty nervous going into Thursday, as it does not take a lot of imagination to see Ghana beating Portugal and us losing to Germany (goals notwithstanding). Do you all like our chances of drawing more than Portugal's chances of drawing or defeating Ghana? My concern is that Portugal is for all practical purposes eliminated unless we get blown out, so Ghana has more to play for. Oh, that and the fact that we are playing arguably the best team in the tournament.
