Okay, now that someone finally brought up Nevada... I know I'm a bit partial, but the best runner to ever come out of Nevada is Tom Wysocki. Another Nevada guy - Brandon Rock.

For South Dakota, as said before: Billy Mills (10k Olympic Gold), Buddy Edelyn (Marathon World Record) and Rod DeHaven (America's best distance runner the past several years, Maraton, Sydney Olympics, national collegiate champ etc. etc.). But, you have to add: Steve Heidenreich, sub-4 miler for Indiana U, Big 10 champ etc....took's Pre's spot at 5k when USA went to Russia and would have been an Olympic stud but for getting hit by a drunk driver; and Jeff Schemmel, sub-4 miler for Kansas State, Olympic trials at 5k etc.

I remember Kevin Castille now. Meet him a couple of times. Good to see he just ran 28:49 at Stanford. Hope Tom Hopkins knows about the results.
