I assume you're mistaken about Hall, as I didn't see his name on the heat sheet.
Both Ryan Hall and Alicia Craig were late entries, and both should beat Ritz handily.

Is it really going on now? They usually run these at night, so that would surprise me.

What say you stop posting ~now~ for the remainder of 2007, but you may return here should they not go under 13:10. That would be swell.

What if you were to run your head through a meat grinder, and if it didn't kill you horribly then you may not post for the remainder of 2007.
Many thanks.
It would be brilliant if someone could manage to get splits during the race and report. We would all be forever in debt to that wonderful person. =)
they're posting the results pretty quickly. the 3rd and 4th heats of the mens 1500m were scheduled to start at 6:15 and they're already posted(@ 6:30).

You idiot!!!!!!!! Goucher should get all the respect he deserves and more, he had a few HORRIBLE!! years and I personally am glad to see him back on top. Anyone who thinks salazar would let him take drugs or that salazar couldn't return him to top shape should be shot. Everyone is complaning about flagpole, you are the one that needs to be shut up!! I personally think goucher will go sub 13 this year and more power to him if he does. Maybe ritz should go work with salazar, anyone with me?
Cragg is out.
dont know sub 13 but if he gets a under 13:05 it would be great....I think the most important thing for the guy is to STAY healthy..Look at Todd Williams, he had all the talent but kept getting injured, same with salazar.
I was one of the few that kept saying dont knock anyone down, i mean what is the point of knocking people. We need all the good distance runners we can get in the US.
i wonder if there is going to be more speculation AFTER the race or BEFORE? i suppose if something interesting happens, like a fast time or webb winning or ritz doing "bad", people will talk about it for a while, but something tells me people on here are going to find something about it to talk about for a long while after it is over anyway. bottom line is
1. ritz 27:41
2. abdi 27:42
3. cragg 27:51
4. webb 27:56
5. belz 28:02
6. asmerom 28:06
7. gonzales 28:11
8. macias 28:19
