Whoever sponsors Henry Rono might want to consider doing it not just for the underdog's upward-bound empirical results, i.e. weightloss, faster times, delta improvement and what not, in the standard, well known, narratively abused and ever-so-popular riches-to-rags redemption.

Wonder if it would not be useful to radically eviscerate how someone so great can fall so far down. When you think about the existential spread, it is mindblowing.
Not that it is the first time it happened in the history of humanity. Yet, it would be a amazing if the man who blew away four world records in 81 days could crystallize the devastating dynamics of all the mechanisms that caused his fall. It will make his comeback greater and possibly longlasting. It would be a shame if in the currents of enthusiasm, the opportunity to hear the real story was glossed over in favor of therapeutic (and commercial) visibility.
It would be great to hear it as if it were a race gone wrong, step by step, heartbeat by heartbeat, which however is not yet over and maybe has not yet gone wrong.
But, unless it was really painful to share, it just can't be simply "I was overwhelmed, I started to drink too much, you know when you drink, my performance started to shake, i got depressed, I put on more weight, I lost my money," ect, ect. Understanding the fragility and the inner workings of real talent could be a unique lesson for all to learn. Just an idea.
