Oh how ironic! On 22 Aug 2013 he made a blog "How to combat cheating before it happens"!

It starts - "Men and women both cheat. Cheating is a terribly selfish, cowardly and a despicable act. It is never justified. It is always 100% the cheaters ..."

Frankly if proven to be a fraud (looking likely) I'm personally OK with a rigorous and public ruining of his fake, fradulent, grifting life. If for no other reason than to serve as an example to others. It is how societal morality is maintained. If we can simply steal, cheat and lie our way through life with no repercussions, society would break down pretty quickly.

If he cops to it, makes appropriate amends to those from whom he has scammed, and doesn't engage in this kind of stuff again, then I will be the first to wish him success in his future. I am not holding my breath of course.

Because he's scamming the public too, asking for money that they THINK is going to charity, and its not, so the PUBLIC need warning not to give him money

Can someone explain why he doesn't appear in the sex offender registry? Is it possible he was arrested (and hence the mugshot) but not convicted?

Someone with some Googlefu should be able to bring up the relevant court documents to see what went on in the case.

Who cares? Dean Karnazes ran 50 marathons in 50 days, and KP Kelly is twice his size. So of course he can run twice as many marathons.

I ran a 4:17 mile in college and my marathon PR is only 2:5x. Not everyone runs every Olympic distance shooting for comparable times when they are fit.

People constantly exaggerate the PR from back in the day. meh.

The issue is the 99 undocumented marathons and 1 hundy, charitable fund raising, and blatant cheating/cutting courses in other marathons.

When you call attention to yourself on SnapFace, Tweeter, and InstaChat, as well as trying to get new outlets to cover your story, saying you're running 100 marathons, you probably better be prepared to be called out and prove you did some running.

He was convicted for a Tier 1 offense which does not require neighborhood/community notification. I believe that is why it does not sow up.

Doesn't state much. Although, this guy appears to be screwed.
