a) This isn't a sacrifice contest. Trump should have said "who the hell cares, why are you asking me that?" when he was asked about "sacrificing."

b) Khan's son died because of policies implemented by Hillary Clinton and the establishment rather than anything Donald Trump has ever done. Pure and simple fact.

c) This whole ridiculous topic was set up and driven by the Clinton Election Team (est. ~1995) and the media, and I am disappointed in Trump's response. He could have said "No comment" on each and every question regarding Khan and it would have driven the media nuts.

For the record I think the media's labeling of Trump as "attacking" the gold star mom was an exaggeration. More accurately he did make a snarky comment about her not speaking. He certainly was not respectful to her and comparing his sacrifice with that of parents was one of the dumbest things he said.

As this election process continues, Trump is getting exposed more and more and his comments are showing he can't handle the pressure.

He greatest accomplishment to date is making Hillary look really good. That is amazing.

This particular issue only became big because of Trump's response.

If he said nothing about it, it would have gone away and would have been soon forgotten with all of the other speakers.

Trump was baited into this and took the bait.

If Elizabeth Warren makes a dig at Trump and Trump comes back with something awful about her, it has little impact.

But making the slightest dig at a private citizen, especially grieving parents apparently has a big effect.

The grieving Benghazi mother said some pretty bad things about Hillary at the RNC.

Hillary's response was empathy for the mother.

Trump isn't capable of empathy.

This contrast is why one story got big and the other didn't.

Clinton will win the election by 20 points. Republicans spin their delusional rants over and over again. Trump galvanized the racists, but repels everyone else, including Republicans who were on the fence. Hell, the Houston Chronicle has opted to support Hillary Clinton.

There are also a ton of comments on here listing her corruption. Funny thing is YOUR GOP-led committees cleared her of wrong doing.

You do understand that Khan was a managing partner in that firm and therefore was most certainly aware that people as important as the Clintons were its clients, and as a partner, he benefitted from that even if first year associates and a team of anonymous paralegals were doing the billable work on the files.
